DAY 1 | PARIS / OSLO
Flight to Oslo. Arrival in Oslo. Welcome at Oslo airport by your guide then transfer to your hotel.

DAY 2 | OSLO / LOFOTEN ISLANDS (170 km)
Breakfast at the hotel.
This morning transfer to Oslo-Gardemoen airport and flight to Evenes north of the Arctic Circle and gateway to the Lofoten and Vesterålen archipelagos.
Free lunch.
Destination Svolvær via the Lofast, connecting the Lofoten and Vesterålen archipelagos. These islands are a tourist hotspot in Northern Norway, known worldwide for their wild and spectacular nature. Separated from the continent by the Vestfjord, they form a chain approximately 150 km long from the South-West to the North-East, made up of more than eighty mountain ranges rising above the sea, often vertically; the most impressive of them reach 1300 meters above sea level. The archipelago is a jagged universe, made up of a myriad of islets, dominated by high jagged peaks which plunge directly into the sea. The islands are linked together by bridges and ferries.

DAY 3 | DISCOVERY OF THE LOFOTEN ISLANDS (250 km)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today, day dedicated to discovering the Lofoten Islands via the small ports of Henningsvær, Reine or Å.
The Lofoten Islands are scattered in the turbulent waters of the Norwegian Sea, well above the Arctic Circle. This privileged position, at the forefront of the wild world, gives it an infinite reserve of landscapes mixing mountains, fjords, seabirds, long beaches and charming little fishing villages.
Free lunch during the excursion.
Return to Svolvær.
Dinner and night at the Thon Lofoten Hotel or similar.
JOUR 4 | DISCOVERY OF THE VESTERÅLEN ISLANDS & ZODIAC WHALE SAFARI (210 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Take the road north towards the Vesterålen Islands. The journey takes you through magnificent landscapes of mountains and islets, particularly if you follow the more authentic west coast. Head to the northern tip of Andøya, where the village of Andenes is located.
Free lunch en route.
In Andenes, embark on a 4-hour safari which will take you to meet whales and orcas but in a more intense way: aboard a zodiac. Before departure, the guide will tell you about the animals you will encounter on the way, give you the necessary safety information for this trip and give you a floating thermal suit. Once back at the port, it’s time to debrief and warm up with coffee, tea or soup.

DAY 5 | DISCOVERY OF THE ISLAND OF SENJA & TROMSO (260 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Board a ferry for a 2-hour crossing to reach the wild and green island of Senja.
You will follow the beautiful panoramic road to reach Tromsø, the Paris of the North.
Tromsø, the northernmost student city in the world. It is lively, home to numerous museums, exhibitions, cafes, restaurants… Don’t miss a visit to its Arctic cathedral. Tromsø has been for centuries (and still today) the starting point for arctic explorers, fishermen, trappers and other adventurers.

DAY 6 | FLIGHT TO THE SVALBARD ARCHIPELAGO – DISCOVERY OF LONGYEARBYEN
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Tromsø airport and boarding for a 1.5 hour flight to reach the Arctic.
After a brief flight from mainland Norway, you will find yourself in the heart of the majestic Arctic landscapes of the Svalbard archipelago, the Kingdom of the Polar Bear. Wilderness, exceptional wildlife.
In summer, the midnight sun lights up the sky from April to August.
Installation at the hotel.
Accompanied by a local guide, discovery of Longyearbyen, the main town of the archipelago (duration 2 hours). A visit through its history which will allow you to understand its importance even today.
From the Longyear Valley to the Hotellneset Peninsula, passing through the picturesque streets of the city, the Adventalen Valley and Mine 7, these arctic landscapes will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture like never before .Dinner and night at the Radisson Blu Polar hotel in Longyearbyen.
DAY 7 | SPITSBERGEN – CRUISE TO DISCOVER GLACIERS AND WILD LIFE
Breakfast at the hotel.
Boarding the MS Bard, a new generation electric catamaran for a 7-hour cruise. You will begin this adventure along the edge of the ice, through a breathtaking polar landscape. Your journey will take you to Billefjorden and the Nordenskiöldbreen Glacier, a not-to-be-missed opportunity to get up close and personal with Arctic wildlife.
During your cruise you will be able to see the ghost town of Pyramiden and go to the superb Skanbukta Bay.
The MS Bard, with its huge panoramic windows and exterior decks, is the ideal way to navigate these icy waters without disturbing this fragile ecosystem. It is also the most ecological solution. Listen to this silence!
A light lunch will be served on board.
Return to land, free end of the afternoon.

DAY 8 | SPITSBERGERN – DISCOVERY OF MINE 3 AND EVENING AT CAMP BARENTZ
Breakfast at the hotel.
Exciting discovery of a coal mine and immerse yourself in the history of the archipelago, the miners and their life in the mountains. Mining history is important to the existence of Longyearbyen as this town would not exist without coal mines.
You will have the opportunity to discover mine 3, active from 1971 to 1996. It is an authentic mine, where everything has been almost left as it was since closure. So the second you enter the building, the walls are full of history and feel like there is still life there.
You will experience the life of a miner during a guided tour of approximately 3 hours. You will receive a miner’s suit, headlamp and helmet before starting your tour.
Lunch and free afternoon.
Optional : Walrus discovery safari
Travel to Borebukta Bay to visit these strange animals with long teeth, the walruses! During the summer, you can see colonies of walruses basking on the beaches and small islets.
As with all wild animals, we cannot guarantee that we will see them, but the chances are good.
Tonight, a unique experience discovering the wild nature at 78 degrees North! You will take the road towards the Advent Valley to Camp Barentz, at the foot of Breinosa Mountain.
Far from the city, it is a privileged place to make the most of the exceptional landscapes of Svalbard. The lucky ones will have the chance to see reindeer, foxes and polar bears.
During the evening, your host will welcome you around a cozy campfire to enjoy reindeer stew. A typical Svalbard meal! After dinner you will experience a unique moment of exchange during which you will learn more about the polar bear, the King of the Arctic. Before your return to civilization, don’t forget to marvel at the desert landscape before you.

DAY 9 | SPITSBERGEN / OSLO
Breakfast at the hotel.
This morning, board your return flight to Oslo.
After 3 hours of flight, arrival in Oslo Gardermoen and transfer to the city center.
Lunch and afternoon at leisure for a personal discovery of Oslo.
Oslo, the capital of Norway located between the Oslofjord and the green hills of Holmenkollen. With 600,000 inhabitants over 454 km2, half of which is wooded, Oslo is a unique city where the outdoors are within reach, where modernism and design rub shoulders with nature.
