Ocean Suites

These suites offer a fantastic view. New double, single, and family rooms are located right on the waterfront. Enjoy your cozy room and luxury bathroom while a delicious breakfast is being prepared for you.

The rooms are equipped with a seating area, a double, twin, or single bed, a kettle, a hairdryer, a television, Wi-Fi connection, and a work desk.

Holiday Apartments

Four holiday apartments including a living room with a comfortable seating area and a private bathroom with a shower. There is also a cozy, fully equipped kitchenette, as well as a refrigerator, stove, coffee machine, and dining area.

The apartments offer a view of the peaceful Ringstad harbor, with a magnificent view of Eidsfjord or the mountains. The holiday apartments are perfect for couples, a group of friends, or a family of four.

One bedroom has a 140 cm bed and a 90 cm bed, while the other bedroom has two 90 cm beds. All apartments are equipped with a television and offer free Wi-Fi

Blåstua

Blåstua is a traditional holiday home. It has a total of 3 bedrooms on the upper floor. One bedroom is equipped with a double bed, another with a twin bed, and another with a 120 cm bed. The house is ideal for 5 people looking to enjoy a fun vacation together.

On the ground floor, you will find a cozy kitchen, a living room with a pleasant fireplace, a dining area, and a small bathroom. Free Wi-Fi and a television are also available.”

Restaurant

In the restaurant, you can discover the best of nature and the ocean directly on your plate. In a relaxed atmosphere with a view of a beautiful landscape, you have the choice between our à la carte menu or the option to try an exclusive three-course menu.

The dishes are based on local ingredients and are inspired by local culinary traditions, with a touch of international influences. The menu and selections change by season, and during the summer there are buffet-evenings

Popular activities

Eagle, bird and fjord safari (approx. 3h)

Mini 6 pax, maxi 12 pax.
Minimum age : 10 years.

Join our local guides on a trip over the fjords and experience the nature of Vesterålen from the seaside.  The guide will meet you in the Lobby area and give you some information before heading out.  We will provide life vests and thermal suits, as well as something to eat and drink on the trip.  After leaving the harbor of Ringstad, our guide and captain will lead you to prime locations where eagles are frequently spotted. The eagles are familiar with our boats and might even put on a show for you!  While cruising the fjords and sea, keep an eye out for other birds and wildlife, as there is plenty in the area!  Bring suitable clothes and shoes, as well as hat and gloves if its windy or rainy. Have your camera charged and ready to capture the unique and thrilling moments.

Kayak with guide – on request only ! (approx. 3h)

Mini 4 pax, maxi 9 pax.
Minimum age : 12 years.

Enjoy the Ringstad archipelago while smoothly crossing the water on kayak.  Meet with the guide at the lobby area, after getting the information for the day you will be fitted with the needed equipment. When setting out, the guide will take you safely through the waters around the area, while giving tips and tricks if you are a beginner.   Participants under the age of 18 years will not be accepted to join unless a guardian/parent is present in the same activity.

Moose & Wildlife safari (approx. 4h)

Mini 5 pax, maxi 7 pax.

The guides will meet you in the lobby and will give you some useful information for the tour.  Before heading out we will give you something to eat and drink to bring on the tour.   The tour is done by car, and the guides are well familiar with the local area and the moose population, and can identify individuals that they know since before, as well as read their body language very well!  The guide will take you to known locations for moose spotting and give you an unforgettable moment.   The tour is by car and does not involve walking or hiking. Guides speak Norwegian and English language.

Little island lighthouse tour (approx. 5h)

Mini 6 pax, maxi 8 pax.
Minimum age : 12 years.
Others: Potential allergies/food restrictions have to be announced minimum 48 hours beforehand.

Join us for a thrilling adventure with many different elements!  Gather at the lobby where the driver will meet you. After a short drive to Vinje, you will board the RIB boat that will take you to the Little Island where a local guide will meet you at the docks. Enjoy the guided tour of the lighthouse and learn about its history and stories. Feel free to roam around the island, enjoy the raw nature and imagine the history that took place right where you are standing overlooking the vast ocean.   You are invited for a delicious lunch made from local ingredients before heading back by RIB. Keep an eye out, as you travel through sea eagle territory you might be able to spot one or many!  Back at the harbor of Vinje, the taxi awaits you and will take you back to Ringstad Resort.

Northern light safari (approx. 4/5h)

Mini 5 pax, maxi 7 pax.

Join our experienced guides in the chase for Northern lights!  Gather at the lobby area, where the guides will give you some information before the chase for northern lights begins!  We will send with you something to eat and drink before you head into the night.  The guides have many years of experience in chasing, predicting, and photographing the northern lights. They know the best locations and will take you to the best possible spot to experience and take those magical pictures of the Aurora Borealis.  Wear clothes suitable for the season, and don’t forget your camera!

Inga sami siida visit (approx. 4/5h)

Mini 10 pax, maxi 16 pax.

Join us for an unforgettable journey into Sami traditions with Laila, just north of Sortland on her farm.  Meet in the lobby area where transportation will be arranged to take you to Laila’s home, where she lovingly cares for her reindeers.  Around the cozy fireplace, Laila will share the rich history, traditions, myths and magic of the Sami people, passed down through generations. Don’t miss the chance to visit the reindeer up close and browse through authentic Sami products in Laila’s shop before returning to Ringstad Resort.
