DAY 1 | PARIS / OSLO

Flight to Oslo. Arrival in Oslo. Welcome at Oslo airport and transfer by shuttle with a guide to your hotel.

Dinner (as a cold plate if arrival is after 10:00 PM at the hotel) and overnight stay at the hotel in the airport region.

Note: Transfers are organized collectively with passengers arriving on several different flights. Therefore, please expect possible waiting time at the airport before the transfer to the hotel.

DAY 2 | OSLO / LILLEHAMMER REGION (210 km)

Breakfast buffet with Scandinavian specialties.

A guided tour (3 hours) of the Norwegian capital will be conducted by an official local guide. You will start with a panoramic tour of the city center passing by the Royal Palace and its gardens, the Parliament, and the City Hall where the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded each year.

On the Bygdøy peninsula, you will visit the FRAM Museum showcasing polar exploration vessels. You will also explore Vigeland Park with its 200 sculptures in granite or bronze depicting the cycle of life, from newborns to the elderly worn by years.

Lunch. Afterwards, you will follow the same route that pilgrims once used to travel to Trondheim and pass along Norway’s longest lake, Lake Mjøsa.

Upon arrival in Lillehammer (a sustainable destination), the host city of the 1994 Winter Olympics, you will have the opportunity to admire the ski jumping hills.

Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in the Lillehammer region.

DAY 3 | LILLEHAMMER / ÅLESUND (350 km)

Breakfast buffet with Scandinavian specialties.

Departure towards the famous Gudbrandsdal valley where you will see numerous traditional farms. Passing through the stunning Romsdalen valley where you will discover the Troll Wall.

Lunch en route.

Continuation towards Ålesund, taking the famous Troll’s Road, carved into the mountainside through one of Norway’s wildest regions. This road is among the National Tourist Routes of Norway, and special facilities have been designed to allow you to admire the 11 hairpin bends, the valley, and perhaps even some strange creatures.

Arrival in Ålesund, a city located on an archipelago at the mouth of the Storfjord. In 1904, it was completely destroyed by a fire and rebuilt in an “art nouveau” style.

Dinner and overnight stay at the Ålesund Hotel.

Note: The Troll’s Road usually opens at the end of May but may be closed quickly if there is a risk of avalanche. In this case, an alternative route will be taken.

DAY 4 | ÅLESUND – GEIRANGERFJORD CRUISE / JOSTERDAL NATIONAL PARK (260 km)

Breakfast buffet with Scandinavian specialties.

Ferry crossing between Linge and Eidsdal before continuing towards the village of Geiranger (a sustainable destination), the pearl of the fjords. The road leading to it is called the Eagle’s Road and offers a viewpoint that will leave you speechless.

You will continue this enchanting day with a one-hour cruise on the Geirangerfjord, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and has been voted “Best Destination in the World” by National Geographic.

Lunch.

Continuation towards Lake Langvatnet before turning towards Stryn and then the Loen region before reaching the Skei I Jolster region.

This region is located at the foot of the Jostedal Glacier, the largest in Europe.

Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in the region.

DAY5 | JOSTEDAL / SOGNEFJORD / BERGEN (320 km)

Breakfast buffet with Scandinavian specialties.

Continuation towards Skei and then Fjærland before arriving at the foot of the Bøyabreen Glacier, which is one of the arms of the Josterdalsbreen, one of the largest glaciers in Europe. After a short 15-minute walk, you will be able to see the tongue of this glacier. Continue towards Sogndal and then cross the fjord by ferry between Mannheller and Fodnes before continuing towards Flåm by taking the longest tunnel in the world (25 km).

Cruise on the Sognefjord (approx. 2 hours).

This cruise represents a very spectacular moment of the journey: the boat glides on the sea surrounded by impressive mountains overlooking it, allowing you to discover snowy peaks and numerous waterfalls. Lunch will be served as a packed meal during the cruise.

Continuation towards the Stalheim Valley and then towards Voss and the Bergen region.

Dinner on your own (not included) and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 6 | BERGEN / GOL REGION (320 km)

Breakfast buffet with Scandinavian specialties.

A guided tour (2h) of Bergen will be conducted by an official local guide. The program includes the Hanseatic Quarter, the city’s remarkable monuments, and the port. You will then have the rest of the morning to stroll along the docks or visit a museum.

Lunch on your own (not included). Around 1:00 PM, it will be time to leave the capital of the fjords and continue your journey towards the Hardanger National Tourist Route.

A refreshing stop will be offered at the Steindalfossen waterfall, where a small path allows you to walk behind it. You will then follow along the Hardangerfjord, the main inspiration of the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg, surrounded by the country’s orchards. It will also be an opportunity to see the aquaculture farms.

You will also make a stop at the spectacular Voringfossen waterfall. Continuing towards Geilo (a sustainable destination) and then the Gol region, crossing the largest plateau in Europe: Hardangervidda, along the National Tourist Route of the same name.

You will be amazed by the striking contrast you will experience today!

DAY  7 | GOL REGION / OSLO (190 km)

Scandinavian breakfast buffet.

Departure for Oslo through the beautiful Hallingdal Valley, then the Ringerik region.

Lunch on your own (not included). Your free afternoon is the perfect opportunity to enjoy everything the capital has to offer: visit museums, go shopping, or take a stroll in the Akershus Fortress and on the roof of the Opera House.

In the late afternoon, check-in at the hotel located in the city center.

DAY 8 | OSLO / PARIS
