Stay at Reine Rorbuer

Here are the majestic mountains of Lofoten and the Arctic Ocean, our closest neighbors. In summer, a stay in a rorbu can offer endless days and the midnight sun, and in winter, short days with spectacular weather and Northern Lights.

Accommodation

All our rorbuer have recently been restored, combining the atmosphere of the old fishermen’s dwellings with modern comfort. Each cabin, or “rorbu” as they are called, has its own bathroom, and most come with a fully equipped kitchen. Wi-Fi is available in all rorbuer.

A small, comfortable rorbu with a lovely view. It has a balcony with a table and benches and is located at Indre Havn, double bed, and an extra bed upstairs.

Rorbu No. 31 – Frøya

A small, cozy rorbu located in Indre Havn, double bed.

Double room with a bathroom. PLEASE NOTE ! No kitchen. Bunk bed with a 120 cm mattress below and a single bed upstairs.

Larger rorbus accommodating 6 to 7 people. Each rorbu is unique and located in a different place.

Two double bedrooms and one room with a bunk bed.

2 double bedrooms with private bathrooms. One double bedroom on the 2nd floor. The toilet is on the 1st floor.

Rorbu No. 21 – Gro

This is a genuine authentic rorbu with 3 bedrooms and a fantastic location. One double bedroom downstairs, as well as two twin bedrooms on the 2nd floor. A bathroom with shower and separate toilet downstairs. Not suitable for families with young children.

Apartment (4 persons max)

Gammelbua Restaurant

Open from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Welcome to the “Gammelbua” restaurant in the historic district of Reine! The 18th-century building takes you on a charming journey through time, with a fireplace creating a unique atmosphere. They prepare food in a traditional and international manner, offering many exciting dishes made from local ingredients. Fresh fish and meat dishes are seasonally adapted, allowing you to experience true culinary delights of the Lofoten Islands. They can accommodate up to 72 people in three different rooms. Also, enjoy the outdoor terrace offering a fantastic view of the beautiful surroundings.

Business Menu – with Local Ingredients

Add your business to Reine! At “Loftet,” we also have the capacity to accommodate larger groups of up to 90 people. Business menus are designed for groups of at least 10 people and must be ordered at least 10 days before the event.

Breakfast at Gammelbua

Breakfast during the period from May 2nd to September 30th

The Reine Rorbuer breakfast is served at the Gammelbua restaurant from May 2nd to September 30th. Outside of this period, breakfast can be ordered in advance.

Activities

Experiences are abundant in Reine. Many of the offerings are organized by the hotel or our partners. Some require groups of a certain size, while others can be done individually.
