Accommodation

Most of the rorbu cabins at Å Rorbuer date back to the early 1900s when fishermen used them for shelter and accommodation. The newly renovated rorbuer cabins have all the comfort one needs, yet the focus has been on maintaining the historical and rustic charm. The cabins feature a spacious and comfortable living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. There is also access to a balcony. Not all cabins have a sea view.

In addition, we offer hotel rooms with shared bathrooms in the historic Salteriet, a former fish salting factory, and in Brygga, a former fish reception factory.

Breakfast buffet from 08 – 10 (11 on weekends).

Rorbuer with 1 bedroom

A traditional 1-bedroom rorbuer covering 30 square meters, including a kitchen, a seating area with a sofa, and a bathroom with a shower.

Free WiFi and parking are provided.

Rorbuer with 2 bedrooms

Max 4 persons

These rorbuers are 50 sqm, have their own kitchen, a seating area with a sofa, and a bathroom with a shower. Free Wi-Fi and parking are available.

Please note that not all rorbuer have a sea view.

Rorbuer with 3 bedrooms

Max 6 persons

These rorbuers have three bedrooms with single beds and/or double beds. All have private bathrooms with showers and a living room with a kitchen. The living rooms are furnished with a sofa and dining table. Some rorbuers also have a dishwasher. Free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

Private outdoor space, and the view varies from rorbuer to rorbuer.

Deluxe rorbuer with 3 bedrooms

Max 6 persons

Deluxe rorbuer have three bedrooms with a combination of single beds, double beds, and bunk beds.

All with private bathrooms with showers and a living room with a kitchen. The living rooms are furnished with a sofa and dining table. Some rorbuers also have a dishwasher. Free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Private outdoor space, and the view varies from rorbuer to rorbuer.

Large rorbuer with 3 bedrooms

Max 8 persons

These large rorbuers have three bedrooms with a mix of single beds, double beds, and bunk beds. All have private bathrooms with showers and a living room with a kitchen. The living rooms are furnished with a sofa and dining table. Some rorbuers also have a dishwasher. Free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

Double room Brygga

Max 2 persons

These newly renovated twin rooms are located on the pier along with Brygga Restaurant. The rooms share a bathroom.

The rooms are tasteful, and the new skylights allow the magical light and landscape of Lofoten to enter. All rooms have their own sink.

The rooms are furnished according to the strict standards of Classic Norway Hotels and include duvets and pillows with down, Molton Brown toiletries, and a Nespresso machine.

Brygga Restaurant

Reopens on May 1, 2024

Brygga Restaurant is an old building with a history dating back to the 1800s when it used to be an old fish reception and dried fish storage. The recently renovated restaurant has an old and rustic atmosphere, decorated with antiques and old pictures from earlier times. With a focus on locally sourced food, the menu offers everything from dried fish and skrei to Brygga’s delicious fish soup. We also have meat dishes on the menu, sourced locally from Lofoten.

Open from 17:00-23:00 (kitchen closes at 22:30).

Lunch at the restaurant

Between 12:00 – 16:00, you can enjoy a delightful à la carte lunch at Brygga Restaurant. The menu consists of flavorful dishes, with the majority originating from the sea – most of them directly sourced from the fishermen.

Bistro

In our bistro, we offer an à la carte menu from 16:00 to 22:00. Experience a relaxed and informal atmosphere while enjoying delightful dishes, with the majority originating from the sea – most of them directly sourced from the fishermen.
