DAY 3 | JOURNEY TO THE FJORD REGION
After breakfast at the hotel,
This morning, you will take a train journey to the west towards the fjords. This magnificent journey is one of the most beautiful train rides in the world.
It takes you through the countryside, mountains, and the high plateau of Hardangervidda before arriving in Myrdal. From there, you board the famous Flåmsbana, a small train with an impressive gradient that brings you down to Flåm at the bottom of the fjord. It winds its way between the mountains and turquoise blue streams, offering a breathtaking landscape.
You are now in Flåm on the shores of the Sognefjord. Check-in at the hotel in the heart of the fjords.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Fretheim hotel with fjord view or a similar accommodation.
In the evening, you may want to explore the Ægir Microbrewery, which has a warm and Viking-inspired atmosphere. This brewery is one of the best in the country and has won several international awards.
DAY 4 | SOGNEFJORD CRUISE
After breakfast at the hotel,
You will board a beautiful cruise on the famous Sognefjord. Departing from Flåm, you’ll sail along the fjord to its mouth. During this journey, be sure to admire the confluences of the various fjord arms, including the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Nærøyfjord, and the numerous villages scattered along the coast.
The last part of the cruise will take you through the archipelago of Bergen, arriving in the late morning.
Arrival in Bergen, the beautiful capital of the Fjords, with its city center designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.
Dinner at your leisure.
Overnight stay at the Kløverhuset hotel or a similar accommodation.
DAY 5 | DISCOVERY OF BERGEN

The program includes a visit to the harbor with its fish market, the Hanseatic Quarter (the Hanse was the league of merchants from northern Germany), and the old district of “Bryggen” with its well-preserved, colorful wooden houses. You’ll also have the opportunity to do some shopping in the many shops along the pedestrian streets in the city center.
The afternoon is free for you to soak in the atmosphere of the old port. Take a leisurely stroll along the fish market or wander through the alleyways lined with wooden houses. If you take the funicular to the top of Mount Fløien, you can admire Bergen, the city of seven hills, from above.
Dinner at your leisure.
