Programme détaillé
DAY 1 | PARIS / LULEÅ
Departure to Swedish Lapland on SAS regular flights. Arrival at Luleå Airport. You will be welcomed at the airport by your guide for the transfer across the frozen sea via the ice road to Jopikgården, your accommodation on the island. Upon arrival, you’ll have the opportunity to check into your room before joining us for a Swedish fika and getting to know each other. If you wish, you can meet the dogs, and perhaps give them a snack.
This first day will be an easy day where you’ll get to know us and the surroundings, and in the evening, you’ll follow the candles to the dinner location. The dinner will be prepared outdoors over a fire and enjoyed in a traditional teepee called “kåta”, as we sit on warm reindeer skins. After dinner, we can step outside and marvel at the Swedish natural beauty. And why not watch for the Northern Lights in the clear sky before returning to the lodge.
DAY 2 | SNOWSHOEING IN THE FOREST – WOOD-FIRED SAUNA EXPERIENCE
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll make sure you’re dressed according to the weather and equipped with high-quality modern snowshoes for a guided tour of our ancient forest where you’ll learn some wilderness skills, fire making, and route finding, and enjoy a well-deserved lunch around an open fire. We might have the chance to see island wildlife like sea eagles, hares, and foxes, and perhaps an elusive moose as we light the fire for lunch, followed by coffee by the fireside.
After our return, you can relax for a while as we prepare another not-to-be-missed Swedish experience – the private wood-fired sauna. It’s an experience for both body and mind to unwind in the hot sauna. Truly unique! Before it’s time to leave the sauna and return to the “real” world, you’ll have time to rest in a warm room next door with stunning views of the sea, and of course, snacks and drinks. If you prefer not to sauna, take the opportunity to explore the island with fat bikes or kick sleds with some free time before dinner. Dinner tonight will be served at the restaurant. And of course, if the night is clear, you can step outside to gaze at the stars or the Northern Lights.
DAY 3 | DOG SLEDDING
Our day begins with breakfast, gearing up, and feeding the dogs (if you wish). Then it’s time to meet the dogs and get ready for dog sledding. Experience the beauty of the Luleå archipelago as you sit in a sled behind a team of Siberian huskies. As we prepare to depart, the dogs are excited and eager to go. They love to run! We traverse the frozen Gulf of Bothnia bay. After the tour, we’ll have “fika” by a fire and discuss the experience. If you’d like, you’ll have an opportunity to spend time with the dogs after the tour. After your husky experience, you’ll have lunch at the restaurant.
The afternoon is yours to explore the village or simply relax by the fire in the lounge. This evening marks our last night together, and dinner will be a homemade three-course meal enjoyed in our dining room by the fireplace as we reminisce about our adventures and spend our final night together before departure in the morning. After dinner, we’ll retire to the bar available throughout the evening.
DAY 4 | LULEÅ / PARIS
Breakfast, you’ll be well-rested to begin your journey back through the ice road to the city and the airport. Departure to Paris via Stockholm.

Husky Joring
Are you interested in adding some excitement to your vacation? Imagine combining the fun of fat biking with the joy of being pulled by a husky! We call it Husky Joring, and we’ve been doing it for years, and now we want to share it with you. We have 11 huskies waiting for you. This is an exclusive experience that combines fat biking and being pulled by a Siberian Husky on trails or on the ice. This experience is for adventurous souls in cool, cold weather, and it’s unique in Swedish Lapland. We are the only providers of this experience in Swedish Lapland, which is why we call it exclusive and unique. Before you start, you’ll meet the dogs (maybe learn their names and help with harnessing). Depending on the conditions and your previous biking experience, we’ll put one or two dogs in front of the bike. Most likely, we’ll start with one so you can get a feel for it, and if you feel comfortable, we’ll add another dog.
Yoga on Ice
This is a truly special experience. Your yoga guide will lead you through a yoga routine including a Northern Lights salute on the Baltic Sea while enjoying the silence. You don’t need any previous experience to participate in this class. After the class, we’ll have a hot drink and a snack.
