In front of you begins an exceptional three-day hike, linking the wild and mineral plateau of Hardangervidda to one of the most spectacular valleys of Norway: the Aurlandsdalen. Dug by a powerful river, the valley offers grandiose landscapes and breathtaking views of the fjord.
This stay is an immersion in unspoilt nature, between high plateaus, deep valleys and traditional mountain huts. The hike is done on foot, at an accessible pace, in a small group, with attentive support from experienced guides. An authentic and friendly way to discover the Norwegian culture of hiking, closer to nature.

Program
9 AUGUST : ARRIVAL IN OSLO – TRAIN TO FINSE AND INSTALLATION
A meeting is scheduled in Oslo in the evening for an informal presentation. The program is reviewed, practical information is provided, questions are answered and everything is done to ensure that everyone feels well taken care of from the start. It’s the ideal opportunity to get to know the guides and other travelers.
DAY 1 |AUGUST 10 : FINSE / GEITERYGGHYTTA

From Finse, the hike follows marked trails towards Geiterygghytta, in the heart of vast expanses of high mountains, between altitude lakes and panoramas on glaciers and peaks.
In the evening, installation at the refuge for a hot dinner shared in a friendly atmosphere, and to savor the very particular tranquility of the Norwegian mountains.
DAY 2 | AUGUST 11 : GEITERYGGHYTTA / STEINBERGDALSHYTTA / AURLANDSDALSHYTTA

After breakfast, the departure is towards Steinbergdalshytta.
The hike continues on foot through the mountains, with a gradual descent to the Aurlandsdalen. The landscape becomes little by little more verdant, the valley deepens: a remarkable transition between the high-rugged mountains and a lush alpine landscape. On the way, a break is scheduled at Steinbergdalshytta to enjoy coffee and waffles.
Later in the afternoon, arrival is at Aurlandsdalshytta, where luggage is already waiting. A good dinner and a comfortable and well-deserved evening are then shared in the refuge.
DAY 3 | AUGUST 12 : AURLANDSDALSHYTTA / VASSBYGDI / OSLO

The last day is dedicated to the famous stage through the Aurlandsdalen, often nicknamed the «Grand Canyon of Norway». The trail winds through spectacular and changing landscapes, between waterfalls, steep rock faces and lush vegetation. A break is planned in the charming village of Sinjarheim before continuing the route to Vassbygdi.
In Vassbygdi, the bus is waiting for a direct return to the center of Oslo. The journey ends with a night and dinner in a hotel downtown, rich in impressions, new encounters and unforgettable experiences in the heart of nature.

Requirements & health
The trip is of moderate difficulty. You should:
- Feel comfortable with daily stages of 5–7 hours in varied mountain terrain
- Have a normal, solid basic level of fitness and good overall health
- Bring sturdy, well-broken-in hiking or mountain boots and weather-resistant clothing
We hike at a calm, comfortable pace with regular breaks. The guides ensure that everyone feels safe and can keep up. This leaves plenty of time to consciously enjoy the landscape and let the special silence of the north truly sink in.
