The Lodge Lyngen Experience is set in a stunning location in Nord-Lenangen, in the northern part of the Lyngen Peninsula, less than a two-hour drive from Tromsø and just a few meters from the water’s edge.
The peaceful atmosphere will envelop you upon arrival, making you feel right at home, while the dedicated staff will assist you throughout your stay.
Whether you visit in summer, autumn, winter, or spring, each season is unique and will offer you a special experience.

The Lodge Lyngen Experience is situated in the heart of nature, almost at the 70th parallel north, in an exceptional setting. Overlooking the fjord with pristine mountains as a backdrop, you will enjoy an ideal experience of Norwegian nature and the Arctic environment.
Acommodation
Rooms
The lodge features 9 double rooms, totaling 18 beds, each with its own private bathroom. In the lounge, you will enjoy a stunning view of the fjord, where boats and wildlife can be observed from the windows. A cozy sauna and an outdoor jacuzzi are also available in our spa area—and if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, you can swim in the sea right at the water’s edge.
Apartments
Located 8 km from the lodge and directly across from the fjord, the complexes consist of 6 high-end apartments, each offering all the amenities you need as well as stunning views of the sea and mountains.
Apartments with one, two, or three bedrooms are available and are situated on the building’s second floor. On the first floor, you will find a lounge/meeting room and a gear room with a special heater for drying winter clothes or ski/snowboard boots. There is also a charming wooden sauna with a sea view, as well as an additional toilet and shower. Everything is designed to ensure you have a wonderful stay.
Your nearest neighbor is Sandnes Bistro. Here, you can pre-order a meal or simply stop by for lunch or dinner. Let us know if you would like a package that includes accommodation, activities, and meals.
Aurora Hut
Fully equipped for a perfect night, these cabins offer an incredible experience during your stay. Sleeping almost above the ocean and beneath a glass roof, a night under the Arctic sky is an experience you will never forget. They are equipped with a double bed, a small toilet, and numerous amenities to ensure a comfortable night without needing to leave the cabin. This experience is a wonderful upgrade from a stay in a lodge, and you will still have your room to store your luggage and use your private shower.
Restaurant
The Best Local Ingredients
They serve homemade dishes with seasonal ingredients sourced from the region. The talented chef tailors the menu based on the available ingredients during your visit, often highlighting seafood. Fish and seafood hold a significant place in the culinary traditions of northern Norway, which is frequently reflected on our plates. They also aim to introduce you to locally grown produce, such as fresh and flavorful root vegetables.
If you have special requests, the chef will be delighted to prepare customized meals to make your stay exceptional for everyone.
The bar also features local products, including whisky, vodka, gin, aquavit, and liqueurs from the world’s northernmost distillery, Aurora Spirit.

Located 85 km north-east from Tromsø, the possibilities for transport are many. Whether you want to arrive by car, boat or helicopter, the journey offers an experience in itself.

Winter: Skiing, northern lights viewing, whale safaris, snowmobile safaris, dog sledding, and snowshoeing.
Ski Season:
In March, April, and May, the lodge collaborates with the leading ski guide company in the Lyngen Alps to offer exclusive excursions that combine luxury accommodations with mountain safety. Guests can choose to ski directly from the lodge and apartments or take a short boat ride to one of the many islands around the Lyngen Alps.
Year-Round Activities: Floating, distillery tours, and helicopter tours.
