Ruka Peak offers 6 double rooms and 2 suites. All rooms are decorated in a modern style, with natural materials and unique colors. The rooms boast stunning views of the wild northern landscapes. If you’re lucky, you might catch exotic Northern Lights in full view from our large windows.

Restaurant

Elevating the experience of their remarkable surroundings is the philosophy of the Ruka Peak restaurant. The on-site restaurant is led by the renowned chef Matti Jämsen and his team of passionate and creative professionals. The intimate restaurant provides stunning views of the hills and a relaxed atmosphere to truly immerse yourself in a Nordic culinary journey.

Sauna & Spa Area

Ruka Peak’s specialty is the Sauna World, built within a cave in the west wing of the building. Bathing in an underground traditional smoke sauna is an experience you won’t forget. The evening concludes with a tranquil soak in a bath barrel under the dark sky illuminated by stars and the Northern Lights.

Two separate cave saunas, one equipped with changing rooms, a shower, and a smoke sauna. The second (the house sauna) features a lounge area, a wood-burning fireplace, and bathrooms. The caves are connected by a spacious terrace and two incredible outdoor massage hot tubs for a total of 14 people.

At the Sauna World, it’s possible to order drinks and sauna tapas. Please note that the sauna area is licensed to sell alcoholic beverages, and personal drinks are prohibited.

The Sauna World can be rented for guests not staying in our hotel (rates available upon request). The option for the house sauna to be heated is included in your stay.

Spa Treatments & Massages

Clients also have the option to book massages and relaxing treatments. The treatments can be arranged here at Ruka Peak or in the village of Ruka.
