It’s situated on the sole island nestled between the river and mountains in the magnificent Charlevoix region, halfway between the cities of Quebec and Tadoussac.
Accessible easily via the free ferry connecting it to Saint Joseph de la Rive (Les Éboulements) in approximately 20 minutes (departures every 30 minutes from each side during peak season), Isle-aux-Coudres offers a charming escape.

A quintessential vacation destination in Quebec, the Cap-aux-Pierres Hotel was built on an enchanting site, offering a sublime view of the Saint Lawrence River amidst salty air, grand landscapes, a marine horizon, and spectacular sunrises.
Easily recognizable with its dormer windows, the main building is an immense and inviting Canadian-style house.
As a member of the Charlevoix Flavour Trail, the Cap-aux-Pierres Hotel offers exquisite local cuisine and attentive service in its restaurants and terrace.
With a multitude of activities available on-site, you’ll have plenty of options to relax and have fun.
Accommodation
At the Cap-aux-Pierres Hotel, your well-being is our priority, and we continually make improvements each year.
The main building, spanning two floors with an elevator, houses 45 cozy attic rooms.
Outside, with direct access to the estate’s gardens, 52 spacious and bright rooms are distributed across two wings.
The rooms, now renovated without carpets, offer a selection of amenities:
