EasyThis peaceful nature safari is a very special way to experience the essence of Lapland.
The daily driving distances are reasonable, making the safari suitable for most of us. During this safari, you will become acquainted with the local way of life as well as the tranquility of the forest and nature.
Accommodation ranges from hotel rooms or chalets in Luosto to shared lodging in the old lumberjack’s house and simple yet comfortable cabins.

Programme détaillé
DAY 1 | PARIS / ROVANIEMI
Departure to Finnish Lapland on Finnair regular flights. Arrival at Rovaniemi Airport. You will be greeted at the airport by our guides. Transfer to the Luosto ski resort. Night in well-equipped log cabins or hotel in double rooms. Dinner will be enjoyed at the restaurant.
DAY 2 | HEADING NORTH
Breakfast. Distribution of safari clothing, instruction on snowmobile handling, and safety briefings. Departure for a snowmobile safari through the forests towards the north, with lunch enjoyed around an open fire during the day. After about 100 km of travel, arrival at the old wooden house previously used by lumberjacks. The sauna and toilets are outside; additionally, water must be brought in. Guests can relax in the traditional Finnish sauna before enjoying dinner served by safari guides. Shared accommodation.
DAY 3 | ICE FISHING / TANKAVAARA VILLAGE
Breakfast at the forest house. Today, explore traditional winter fishing: safari with guides on a nearby small wild lake, where you can fish in ice holes. Lunch during the day. After lunch, the safari continues to the village of Tankavaara. Overnight in a double room or chalet and dinner at the restaurant.
DAY 4 | RETURN TO LUOSTO
After breakfast, the safari returns south towards the Luosto region; lunch will be enjoyed along the way. In the afternoon, return to Luosto where sauna facilities are available, followed by a night in well-equipped log cabins or hotel double rooms. The farewell dinner will be served at the restaurant.
DAY 5 | ROVANIEMI / PARIS
After breakfast, transfer to Rovaniemi Airport. On the way, visit the Arctic Circle where you can do some shopping (depending on flight schedules).
Departure to Paris on Finnair regular flights.

Bon à savoir
Clients’ personal luggage will be carried with the snowmobiles, so they should not be very heavy. Larger suitcases and baggage can be left at our partner’s office for the duration of the safari. A minimum age of 18 and a valid driver’s license are required to drive a snowmobile. The deductible in case of an accident is €980 per snowmobile.
Clothing and Equipment
Before departure, you will receive winter clothing included in the price: winter overalls, wool socks, boots, mittens, balaclava, helmet. Layering will keep you warm: wear your own clothes under the winter overalls (long-sleeved shirts or leggings, fleece or wool blouse, comfortable pants, for example, fleece pants). You should bring with you: a scarf, a ski hat or winter hat, sunglasses. For your additional personal clothing or other equipment, it’s good to bring a soft bag (sports bag or backpack – not a suitcase), which can easily be attached to the snowmobile.
- Multi-day safaris are challenging both physically and mentally. Days can be long outdoors, and temperatures can range from -5 to -40 degrees. Good physical fitness is important!
- In case of health problems (e.g., heart disease, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, back or hip problems) – please consult your doctor before the trip.
- Note also that this type of safari may pose risks for pregnant women due to, for example, carbon monoxide, vibrations, and other physical stresses.
- In case of an accident, each participant is responsible for the possible costs of delivering a new snowmobile. In case of technical failure of the snowmobile, our partner will provide a new snowmobile.
- Multi-day safaris are subject to change due to weather conditions, and our partner reserves the right to modify the program, accommodation, schedule, and itinerary based on conditions (snow, ice, etc.).
