During this three-day package, you’ll try snowmobiling, meet reindeer, and participate in a Husky Safari. To top it all off, you’ll join a private safari on a sled to hunt for the Northern Lights and spend a night in Aurora accommodation.
The hotel offers an exclusive landscape with spectacular views in a unique location on the shore of Lake Inari. It’s an extraordinary holiday destination with picturesque log cabins, creating an unforgettable Lapland atmosphere. Our restaurant is adorned with Finnish design furniture, and windows all around showcase nature right to your table. You can choose your accommodation from rooms in the wilderness, panoramic log cabins, Aurora log cabins, or even Lake Inari Aurora cabins on the lakeside! During winter, Wilderness Hotel Nangu is an adults-only destination and perfect for couples seeking to escape the pressures of everyday life.
Programme détaillé
DAY 1 | PARIS / IVALO
Departure to Finnish Lapland on Finnair regular flights. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed with a Nangu sign and transferred to Wilderness Hotel Nangu (approximately 30 minutes). Upon arrival, you will be escorted to your accommodation where sparkling wine and romantic treats await you. In the evening, dinner is served in our restaurant. Depending on your arrival time, you will receive your cold weather equipment either on the day of your arrival or the following morning.
DAY 2 & 3 | ACTIVITIES
Husky Safari
To start the day, you will be transferred to the husky farm. During the Husky Safari, you will learn how to handle the sled before setting off on a ride, with huskies pulling your sled through the beautiful winter landscape, passing by the frozen Lake Inari. The excitement of the dogs is contagious, and as the animals quiet down on the trail, you’ll realize that this is the only way to see Lapland.
Meet the Reindeer
You will have the opportunity to meet the reindeer herder and his reindeer. This will give you insight into the way of life in the North. The reindeer will greet you, and you will be invited into the reindeer enclosure. The guide will tell you more about Sami culture and the life of a reindeer. You will have the chance to feed the reindeer – the curious animals might even come to eat from your hand!
Explore Snowmobiling
Snowmobiling is the best way to truly explore the wilderness. After a snowmobiling lesson and safety briefing, we’ll embark on a snowmobiling adventure that takes us through the wild nature, forests, frozen lakes, and the surrounding wilderness. During the day, we’ll enjoy a campfire lunch and hot drinks to keep us warm. Is there a better way to spend a winter day?
Private Aurora Sled Safari
The Aurora sled is a heated sled with an open roof specially designed to enjoy the Aurora from the warmth of the sled, navigating to the best viewpoints around Lake Inari.
Night in Aurora Accommodation
You will spend your first or last night in Aurora accommodation, experiencing this most romantic lodging during your stay. There’s nothing quite like the experience of lying comfortably and warmly in your own bed under billions of stars, observing the night sky and waiting for the Northern Lights to appear.
DAY 4 | IVALO / PARIS
Breakfast. Transfer to Ivalo airport. Departure to Paris on Finnair regular flights.

- All safaris begin with comprehensive safety instructions. Our experienced guides will show you how to drive your snowmobile and provide a thorough safety briefing before hitting the trails. Children aged 4 to 12 will be in a sled pulled by your guide with a snowmobile.
- All snowmobile safaris (maximum civil liability of €1000 per snowmobile in case of an accident).
