The Deluxe Aurora Rooms feature a one-of-a-kind interior with a magical view of Senja’s stunning landscape.
The walls are adorned with driftwood-colored wooden panel frames, offering an ever-changing view of the fjord and mountains. The rooms are named after Norwegian weather and light phenomena: the Midnight Sun and the magic of the Northern Lights.
The panoramic view can be enjoyed directly from your bed or a comfortable lounge area near the large windows that cover the entire front facade.
You’ll find a beautiful private veranda just outside where you can step even closer to the water, be it summer or winter.
The bathrooms have a delicate yet raw style, with frosted glass walls that capture the daylight in the summer. All bathrooms have both a bathtub and a separate shower.
Two of the Aurora Rooms have connecting doors, with 4 rooms on the ground floor and 4 on the upper floor.
A kitchenette is available, equipped with a French press coffee maker, coffee/tea, kettle, a selection of dishes/cutlery, and a small refrigerator.
Full board is required during your stay in these rooms, and you are welcome to make table reservations for lunches and dinners in the restaurant.
In-room service packages with wine, cheese, fruit, etc., can also be ordered.
Blackout Curtains: Given the opportunity to experience the brilliant midnight sun in the summer or the fascinating Northern Lights from late August to mid-April! However, for those in need of peaceful rest, blackout curtains are also available for purchase at the reception. Blackout curtains are installed in all Aurora Rooms. All the Aurora suites and rooms are heated by electric heat pumps. Other rooms are heated by electric panel ovens, and all the bathrooms have underfloor heating.
