Programme détaillé
DAY 1 | PARIS / IVALO
Flight to Finnish Lapland on regular Finnair flights. Arrival at Ivalo Airport. Welcoming with a Nellim sign and transfer to Wilderness Hotel Nellim (approximately 45 minutes). Upon arrival, you will receive your program before dinner. Depending on your arrival time, cold weather gear will be provided either upon arrival or the following day.
DAY 2 & 3 | ACTIVITIES
Snowmobiling
Snowmobiling at Nellim is incredibly fun. There’s limitless wilderness, plenty of trails, and beautiful scenery all around. After a snowmobile lesson and safety briefing, we’ll embark on our snowmobiling adventure. During the day, we’ll enjoy lunch by the fire and hot drinks to keep us warm. Is there a better way to spend a winter day?
Husky Safari
An absolute “must-do” during your stay at Nellim! You’ll learn how to handle the sled before setting off on the husky safari, where the huskies will pull your sled through the beautiful winter landscape, passing by the frozen Lake Inari. The excitement of the dogs is contagious, and as they quiet down on the trail, you’ll realize that this is the only way to see Lapland. All our husky safaris include full instructions and are based on two people sharing a sled, unless otherwise stated.
Aurora Camp
This activity takes you on a Northern Lights hunt on the stunning Lake Inari. You’ll be comfortably seated in a sled pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. This way, you can enjoy the northern sky all the way to the campsite. While observing the night sky, we’ll enjoy the blazing campfire with hot drinks and each other’s company. The ambiance around the campfire is an experience in itself. Our Aurora camps are located 3-6 km from Nellim, facing the northern sky. Lake Inari is one of the best places in the world to observe the Northern Lights as there is no light pollution. If you’re lucky, you might be able to witness this unique light phenomenon.
Northern Lights Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing in the woods at night has its own excitement. We’ll wander through the woods of Nellim and its surroundings until we finally reach the campsite. At the camp, we’ll enjoy hot drinks and gaze at the sky in hopes of a potential Northern Lights display.
DAY 4 | IVALO / PARIS
Breakfast. Transfer to Ivalo Airport. Flight to Paris on regular Finnair flights.

- All safaris start with comprehensive safety instructions. Our experienced guides will show you how to operate your snowmobile and provide a thorough safety briefing before hitting the trails. Children aged 4 to 12 will ride in a sled pulled by your guide’s snowmobile.
- All snowmobile safaris (maximum civil liability of €1000 per snowmobile in case of accidents).
