Programme détaillé
DAY 1 | PARIS / IVALO
Flight to Finnish Lapland on regular Finnair flights. Arrival at Ivalo Airport and transfer by bus to Wilderness Hotel Muotka. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a welcome dinner and settle into your accommodation before heading out for the first night of Northern Lights hunting.
DAY 2 & 3 | ACTIVITIES
Snowmobiling to the Reindeer Farm
We will ride snowmobiles to a reindeer farm, where you will meet reindeer herders and learn about the significance of reindeer in Lapland. You’ll learn how to handle a reindeer with a lasso and take a short sleigh ride pulled by the reindeer. We will also enjoy a soup lunch during the day.
Husky Safari
An absolute “must-do” during a visit to Lapland! The excitement of the dogs is contagious, and as they quiet down on the trail, you’ll realize that this is the only way to see Lapland. All our husky safaris include full instructions and are based on two people sharing a sled, unless otherwise stated.
Aurora Camp
This activity takes you into the beautiful surroundings of Muotka. You’ll be comfortably seated in a sled pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. This way, you can enjoy the northern sky all the way to the campsite. At the camp, there’s a hut with an open fire to warm us up on a cold night of Northern Lights hunting. Your guide will also serve you hot drinks to keep you warm and cozy. The camp has minimal light pollution, making it perfect for observing the Northern Lights, which hopefully will appear in the sky.
Northern Lights Snowshoeing Tour
Découvrez la nature environnante et les aurores boréales à pied ! Faire de la raquette dans les bois la nuit a sa propre excitation. Vous vous promènerez dans les incroyables forêts de taïga entourant Muotka jusqu’à atteindre enfin le campement. Au camp, nous dégustons des boissons chaudes et regardons le ciel dans l’espoir d’un éventuel spectacle d’aurores boréales.
DAY 4 | IVALO / PARIS
Breakfast. Transfer to Ivalo Airport. Flight to Paris on regular Finnair flights.

- All safaris start with comprehensive safety instructions. Our experienced guides will show you how to operate your snowmobile and provide a thorough safety briefing before hitting the trails. Children aged 4 to 12 will ride in a sled pulled by your guide’s snowmobile.
- All snowmobile safaris (maximum civil liability of €1000 per snowmobile in case of accidents).
