Very easyEscape for a weekend in Helsinki, the “daughter of the Baltic”.
Helsinki amazes with its bold mix of Soviet, Art Nouveau, functionalist and modern architectural styles.
Programme détaillé
Founded in 1550, Helsinki has been the capital of Finland since 1917. Summer and winter, under sparkling sun or more or less abundant snow, the capital can be pleasantly explored on foot or by tram. From the esplanade towards the port and the market, we branch off towards the Senate Square. Towards the north, strolling along the boulevard, you reach the train station and Töölö districts, and to the east, the fine sandy beaches.
HOTEL ARTHUR HELSINKI
Arthur Hotel welcomes you in Helsinki, next to Kaisaniemi Park, opposite the University of Helsinki Metro Station and just 350 meters from the Central Station. It offers a rich buffet breakfast, free Wi-Fi and a sauna upon reservation.
Rooms include a desk, a TV and a private bathroom with a shower. Those on the top floor offer views of the Helsinki skyline.
Decorated with unique and simple curtains and crystal chandeliers, Arthur Hotel’s restaurant serves traditional Finnish dishes.
Helsinki Grand Casino and the National Theater of Finland are both reachable in about 3 minutes on foot. Hotel Arthur is 600 meters from Aleksanterinkatu shopping street.
