This five-day snowmobile expedition will allow you to explore the region and its most beautiful routes and trails, all under a pristine white landscape. Programme détaillé

DAY 1 | PARIS / MONTREAL AIRPORT / MONTREAL (approx. 20 km)

Regular flights to Montreal. Reception at Montreal airport and transfer to the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in downtown Montreal. You will have the rest of the day to explore this vibrant and unique French-Canadian city. Dinner on your own and overnight stay.

DAY 2 | MONTREAL / MONT-LAURIER (approx. 240 km)

Breakfast on your own, followed by a morning transfer (8:00 AM) to the north and the Upper Laurentians region. You will quickly notice the changing landscape. Let yourself be enveloped by the relaxed and joyful atmosphere of the winter season. Upon arrival at Pourvoirie Mekoos, you will be warmly welcomed by the owner with a welcome cocktail. Located on the shores of Lake Iroquois, this authentic log cabin lodge will charm you. Lunch. After settling into your cabins, you will meet your snowmobile guide who will distribute the equipment. Detailed explanations on the operation of the snowmobiles and presentation of safety instructions will follow, along with a short test ride around the outfitter (approx. 60 km). You will quickly enjoy discovering these new sensations of gliding and speed. Dinner and overnight at Pourvoirie Mekoos.

DAY 3 | MONT-LAURIER / PARENT (approx. 160 km)

Breakfast. Prepare your travel bag for the raid and off you go! This morning, you will head northwest, winding through the snow-covered trails of the region. You will reach Lake Adonis and the Pourvoirie des 100 lacs for lunch. Then you will continue south, where the landscapes become an endless succession of forests, lakes, and mountains. You will arrive at Pourvoirie Fer À Cheval in time to admire the sunset. Dinner and overnight at Pourvoirie Fer À Cheval.

DAY 4 | PARENT / SAINTE-ANNE-DU-LAC (approx. 170 km)

Breakfast, then departure for a memorable day. You will cross the vast Mitchinamecus reservoir, where a GPS is necessary to navigate its length due to the many bays and points. It’s a unique feeling to move safely over a stretch of ice. Stop at the La Loutre Dam before continuing your journey to Sainte-Anne-du-Lac for lunch. Then, restart to cross Lake Tapani to reach the Notawissi outfitter, your stop for tonight. The Notawissi team awaits you for a wild game meat fondue dinner and an unforgettable evening. Overnight at the Notawissi outfitter.

DAY 5 | SAINTE-ANNE-DU-LAC / FERME NEUVE (approx. 160 km)

Breakfast. This morning, you will head to the wooded shores of the Gatineau River, which flows into the Baskatong reservoir. A panoramic stop at the Serpent Falls, 9 meters high, and the smaller César Falls are highlights of the route. Then, return to Notawissi for a delicious lunch before continuing to the comforting fireplace of Pourvoirie Rabaska. Your hosts, Dominique and Martin, warmly welcome you and share their joy of living in nature on the shores of one of Quebec’s most beautiful and largest lakes. During dinner and overnight, enjoy the sense of tranquility and contentment that only a wild resort like this exceptional outfitter can offer. Dinner and overnight at Pourvoirie Rabaska.

DAY 6 | FERME NEUVE / MONT-LAURIER (approx. 170 km)

Breakfast. Today, you leave Pourvoirie Rabaska to rejoin the Dumoulin family at Pourvoirie Mekoos. The spectacular route through the Upper Laurentians to the outfitter would be incomplete without visiting one of the region’s must-see sites: the summit of Montagne du Diable. After climbing the mountain to the summit, cut the engine and take a moment to enjoy the view and the pristine silence of the Quebec winter. Then, the group visits the incredible roaring waters of Windigo Falls before enjoying a delicious lunch in a sugar shack, featuring dishes prepared with local ingredients, including the world-renowned maple syrup. As the day ends, arrive at the outfitter where your host Sébastien awaits you at the ice bar. Dinner and overnight at Mekoos.

DAY 7 | MONT-LAURIER – Dog Sledding Day

Breakfast, then meet at the kennel. You will meet Jessika, your musher, and her team of sled dogs. Be amazed by the energy and excitement of the dogs. They are made for the outdoors and winter and are always incredibly eager to hit the road. With them, you will completely change the pace today. In pairs per sled, you can take turns driving and guiding your own team or comfortably riding in the sled. It’s a unique experience you will never forget. A forest lunch by a wood fire is planned during the excursion. Return in the afternoon to Pourvoirie Mekoos. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 8 | MONT-LAURIER / MONTREAL AIRPORT

Breakfast and transfer (around 10:00 AM) to Montreal airport for your return flight to Europe.

DAY 9 | PARIS

Arrival in Paris.

Important Information

Minimum Age Requirements:

  • Minimum age to be a passenger on the snowmobile: 11 years (same price as an adult).
  • Minimum age to drive a snowmobile: 18 years.
  • A minimum of 2 snowmobiles is now required for a solo departure.

Accommodation Details:

  • Maximum of two people per room.
  • Triple and Quadruple occupancy is not available.

You must present an electronic travel authorization (eTA) for your trip to Canada or for transiting through a Canadian airport. The eTA can be obtained online from the official Government of Canada website.
