During this 3-hour bike tour, you’ll learn about Copenhagen’s ambitious climate plan which is planned to be the world’s most sustainable destination by 2030. What this actually means and why Are city green plans important when we talk about climate change? These and many other questions will be answered on this topic. This popular version tour 1B focuses on how people’s daily choices affect the climate and environment. We talk about food waste, sustainable fashion, travel behavior, energy consumption and much more. The route is almost identical to Tour 1, but with a different focus on the individual instead of the city. 3 hours.

Tour 2 – The Sustainable Walking Tour in Copenhagen
On this 2-hour walking tour of the old city center, we discover why Copenhagen is one of the best places to live, and how this relates to its green and sustainable initiative. We will experience the classic highlights and hidden gems, and tell the history, culture and future policies to the three pillars of sustainability – environmental, social and economic, and address relevant sustainability issues. Tour 3 – The local Urban Vibe and social sustainability tour by bike
During this 2.5 hour bike ride, we leave the city center and discover the districts of Nørrebro and Østerbro instead. We go off the beaten track and discover hidden gems like urban farms, vegan bakeries, climate neighborhoods and recreational areas like Superkilen.

Tour 5 – Cultural Diversity Walking Tour in Nørrebro
Traveling version of “Local and social urban atmosphere and sustainable development bike ride”). A 2-hour walking tour around the various Nørrebro neighborhood with discussions about its chaotic history and former unsuccessful integration as well as its current state of being a respectfully diverse society with more local engagement than any other part from Copenhagen.

Tour 6 – The smart city of the future walking tour in Nordhavn
This 1.5 hour walking tour takes you around one of Copenhagen’s new neighborhoods which aims to become the sustainable city of the future. It’s also a large-scale smart city energy laboratory, and we’ll talk about some of their smart solutions innovations as well as explore architectural sustainability.

1) Visit a community-run urban rooftop farm
Price : 760 euros – up to 40 people
Discover Copenhagen’s first rooftop farm that offers locally produced vegetables, honey and eggs using organic and sustainable principles. Meet the people behind the project in the cozy greenhouse and stroll through the vegetable garden with views of Copenhagen from above on this 1-hour tour.

2) Visit to a living laboratory for intelligent urban development
Transportation required – not included.
Price : 940 euros – up to 30 people
Visit a living laboratory where you can discover the latest trends in intelligent urban planning and development on a 1:1 scale. You can find solutions for smart outdoor lighting, waste collection, mobility and parking, as well as real-time solutions for noise and particle pollution during this 2-hour tour.
3) Guided tour of the recreational area of an incineration plant
Price : per person from 35 euros – (Minimum 10 pax)
1 hour visit. If an incineration plant is one of the cleanest and greenest in the world, why not use it as a leisure center too? This is the case of one of Copenhagen’s incinerators, where waste is burned to produce energy, while the building is also used as a climbing wall, a rooftop park, a restaurant and even a ski slope! ·

4) Visit to the first Social Shopping Street in Denmark

The street is a first of its kind, a 62 meters long shopping street containing 7 social

6) Tour and lecture – at sustainable Tivoli Gardens

The Tivoli Gardens are one of Copenhagen’s most popular attractions for tourists and locals alike, and as well as being a lovely garden and amusement park, it’s actually also a very sustainable business! Discover the park’s ambitious sustainability strategies which, among others, include investments in wind energy, energy savings, waste management, recycling and even bees! After 1h30 of presentation, you will go out and have fun in the beautiful park. Included in the price: conference, entrance fees and ticket for the attractions afterwards in the garden (only on weekdays between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.).
7) Explore Copenhagen’s canals with solar-powered boats and green guide as captain – 1 HOUR
Fun free time! Go in a group of up to 7 people per boat to discover Copenhagen’s canals from the water. The boats are powered by solar energy and therefore climate-friendly and quiet. Drinks and food are optional with additional cost.
