Authenticity at the Boutique Hotel Iso Syöte in Pudasjärvi

DAY 1 | PARIS / KUUSAMO

Fly to Finnish Lapland on regular Finnair flights. Arrive at Kuusamo Airport. You will be picked up at Kuusamo Airport and driven to the hotel (transfer duration approximately 1h20). Arrival, check-in to your suite. Dinner. Overnight stay.

DAY 2 | SNOWMOBILE SAFARI THROUGH LAPLAND’S NATURE (approx. 3 hours)

Breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Free morning to explore the hotel’s surroundings. Lunch on your own. Meet at the reception where the safari begins from the hotel at 2 PM, with the snowmobiles lined up. The trail first descends, then runs along the hills, through the forest with heavy snow-covered trees, and across frozen lakes. You will stop for coffee/tea and a pastry by the campfire. After the break, we start the snowmobiles again to ascend the Iso Syöte hill. Return to the hotel, relax in your jacuzzi before dinner. Dinner. Overnight stay.

DAY 3 | SNOWMOBILE SAFARI IN SEARCH OF THE NORTHERN LIGHTS (approx. 4 hours)

Breakfast. Free day to relax, take walks, and discover the soothing nature of Lapland. Lunch on your own and dinner at the hotel restaurant.

At 8 PM, a nighttime snowmobile safari offers a unique atmosphere as you ride under the sparkling stars across the hills and through snowy forests. You will stop to admire the stars in the sky. There will be a coffee break (coffee, brioche) by an open campfire. If you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights! Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 4 | DOG SLED SAFARI WITH LUNCH AT THE DOG FARM (approx. 4 hours)

Breakfast. At 10:30 AM, transport to the husky farm where the huskies eagerly await your arrival. Introduction to the dogs and instructions for sledding. The safari route goes through snowy forests and across frozen lakes. A stop is planned to switch drivers and take photos. Upon returning to the farm, the huskies can be released into their enclosure. A lunch is prepared and served by the fire. Return to the hotel. Free time to relax in your jacuzzi before dinner. Dinner. Overnight stay.

DAY 5 | SNOWSHOE WALK IN THE WILD NATURE (approx. 2-2.5 hours)

Breakfast. Free morning. Lunch on your own at the hotel restaurant. At 2 PM, your journey begins from the hotel after receiving personal instructions on how to use the snowshoes. The walk goes through the deep snow covering the summit of Iso Syöte, allowing you to enjoy the views and admire the beautiful snow sculptures created by nature. Discover animal tracks and bird footprints in the snow. During the break, the guide will offer a hot drink and cookies. Return to the hotel. Relax in your jacuzzi before dinner. Dinner. Overnight stay.

DAY 6 | KUUSAMO / PARIS

Breakfast at the hotel or to-go, depending on your flight schedule. You will be picked up and driven to Kuusamo Airport. It is time to say goodbye to the beautiful Iso Syöte region, with memories that will likely stay with you forever. Fly to Paris on regular Finnair flights.

The hotel restaurant features panoramic bay windows and offers both à la carte and buffet options, providing excellent specialties from Finnish and Lappish cuisine. An open kitchen and a glowing charcoal grill will be the heart of the restaurant. The menu deliciously combines international flavors with the finest bites that Syöte has to offer. So sit back and enjoy mushrooms, berries, and other delicacies picked from the surrounding hills. The reindeer meat from the forests nearby is a true local specialty.
