Programme détaillé

DAY 1| PARIS / IVALO – INARI

Flight to Finnish Lapland on regular Finnair flights. Arrival at Ivalo Airport. You will be met at Ivalo Airport and transferred to the village of Inari, where you will check into your hotel room at Hotel Inari. Your guide will brief you on the upcoming days and perform final checks to ensure you have everything you need for the journey. Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 2 | INARI – SEVETTIJÄRVI (approx. 130 km)

After breakfast, meet at the safari office. After gearing up in our winter equipment and listening to the safety briefing, you’ll be ready to begin your adventure.

Today, you’ll depart from the village of Inari heading north towards Sevettijärvi. You’ll first travel along the frozen Lake Inari, renowned for its ruggedness and beauty. The latter part of the journey will also take you through parts of the forest. Enjoying the stunning landscapes, you’ll slowly make your way to the local reindeer farm.

During the day, you’ll enjoy lunch or a picnic by the fire. Spend the night at the Sanila Reindeer Farm. After a day of driving, a relaxing sauna session is quite the treat. Your day ends with a delicious dinner.

Accommodation: Inn rooms for 2-6 persons per room

DAY 3 | SEVETTIJÄRVI – ARCTIC OCEAN (approx. 100 km)

After breakfast, you’ll mount your snowmobiles and cross the Norwegian border. Today, you’ll reach the Arctic Ocean! The landscapes of northern Norway are breathtaking, shaped by the ice age into fjords. Trees are sparse, and vegetation has adapted to the extreme climate conditions.

Arriving at the shores of the Arctic Ocean, you’ll have the opportunity to walk along its coastline. Thanks to the Gulf Stream, the water remains unfrozen, allowing the brave-hearted to test their mettle with a dip in the icy waters. Throughout the day, you’ll learn more about the Sámi people, king crab, salmon, and the mighty ocean itself. Lunch will be served either at a restaurant or outdoors, depending on weather conditions. In the afternoon, you’ll return to the Sanila Reindeer Farm.

In the evening, it’s time to relax. If the skies are clear, you might even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights. Enjoy a sauna session, followed by dinner and overnight stay.

Accommodation: Inn rooms for 2-6 persons per room.

DAY 4 | SEVETTIJÄRVI – INARI (approx. 130 km)

After breakfast, you’ll embark on your final day of snowmobiling. Your route takes you back across the vast Lake Inari—the third largest lake in Finland. During the day, you’ll have lunch or a picnic by the fire. You’ll return to Inari in the afternoon or early evening, depending on weather conditions and our pace of travel.

Accommodation: Hotel Inari in double rooms.

DAY 5 | IVALO / PARIS

After breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to Ivalo Airport. It’s time to say goodbye to Inari and the Arctic Ocean, but the memories of this expedition will likely stay with you forever.
