The complex consists of a spacious main lodge housing four elegant double bedrooms, a dining area, and common spaces for guests. Four well-equipped Aihki apartments, each designed for 2 to 5 people, are located in the two duplex houses in the courtyard. All buildings are made of old pine wood, and the interiors have been recently renovated.

The main building

The 600m² wooden lodge is very spacious. In addition to the four double bedrooms, it features a large, bright dining room, a cozy lounge and bar with fireplace, as well as a modern sauna on the ground floor and a well-equipped conference room upstairs, all at your disposal.

Accommodation

Lapland’s nature is present both inside and outside the doors of the Sunday Morning Resort. It is surrounded by a peaceful forest. The design and materials of the lodge and apartments honor the local nature.

Deluxe Rooms

The four recently renovated and well-equipped rooms are located in a peaceful wing of the main lodge, accommodating a maximum of 8 people at a time. No extra bed availability in double rooms.

 Aïhki Apartements

The four identical apartments are located in the courtyard in two duplex houses. These charming and atmospheric apartments each feature one bedroom for two people, a living room with fireplace, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a sauna. Three additional beds can be set up in the spacious loft upstairs. The bathrooms, saunas, and kitchens were renovated in 2019.

The Aamu-Suites

The new Aamu-Suites at Sunday Morning Resort come with magnificent lake and fell views, and amenities that are perfect for couples and small families. Available from Autumn 2024 onwards.

Saunas

Enjoy the relaxing steam and warmth of the modern sauna in the main lodge and cool off by the fire on the cozy terrace. In addition to the saunas in the main lodge and the Aihki apartment, the property has a lakeside wood-fired sauna and a traditional smoke sauna as well as a wood-fired hot tub, which can be booked separately.

All guests have access to a small gym located in the main lodge.

Sunday Morning Resort and Aihki Restaurant are carbon neutral. They have a highly efficient heating system and a six-hectare forest acting as a carbon sink. They use durable and high-quality textiles and wash them in-house to avoid unnecessary transportation. All waste is recycled, and biodegradable waste is composted. The resulting compost is used in their potato field and vegetable garden, which are located in their courtyard. They only use organic fertilizers in their garden.
