DAY 1 | PARIS / TROMSØ
Departure to Tromsø.
Arrival at Tromsø airport and transfer to the city center on your own.
To get from the airport to the hotel, we recommend using low CO2 emission transportation such as airport shuttles/buses.
6:30 PM* – Meet at the hotel reception with your guide who will be with you throughout the trip.
Welcome and information meeting about the itinerary of your stay. Your guide is French and has been living in Norway for many years. They will introduce you to Northern Norway while sharing insights about life in the country.
Please note that this trip is bilingual in French/English.
If your flight arrives later, all information will be provided later, and a cold plate will be served.
Tromsø is the capital of the Arctic and the 8th largest city in Norway. As the northernmost university city in the world, it is often called the “Paris of the North.” Tromsø is a strategic location for observing the Northern Lights.

DAY 2 | (Full Day) DISCOVERY OF ARCTIC LANDSCAPES AND WILDLIFE BY HYBRID CATAMARAN
Breakfast – Scandinavian buffet at the hotel.
08:30 AM – 01:30 PM Departure on board a silent and hybrid catamaran off the coast of Tromsø to discover the majestic Arctic landscapes. You may have the chance to observe seals, orcas, or sea eagles. An English-speaking guide on board will share the history and culture of this region.
The boat offers hot dishes, drinks, and pastries in a panoramic lounge, allowing you to enjoy the snowy landscapes of the Northern Alps and see the small fishing villages along the coast.
The rest of the day is free to explore the city on your own. We recommend a visit to the Mack brewery, one of the northernmost breweries in the world, or to the Polaria Museum, where you can attend the seal feeding at 3:30 PM.

Note: We do not guarantee sightings of orcas or other marine animals, and the program may be modified due to weather conditions.

DAY 2 | (Evening) NORTHERN LIGHTS HUNT
06:35 PM – Meet for a Northern Lights hunt! Departure by non-private bus. Excursion guided by an English-speaking guide.
You will head out in search of the best spot to admire the Northern Lights. Once the location is found, you will explore the surrounding area. Your English-speaking guide will be there to provide tips for capturing the best photos possible with your own camera.
Tripods are available for borrowing.
The excursion lasts approximately 6 hours.
Dinner not included.
Note: This excursion may be canceled in case of unfavorable weather conditions. Not suitable for children under 10 years old due to low temperatures.

DAY 3 | FREE DAY IN THE CITY AND EXCURSION TO THE TOP OF MOUNT FLØYA
Scandinavian buffet breakfast at the hotel.
Entire day at your disposal to explore the city at your own pace.
Lunch on your own.
24-hour public transportation ticket included.
You will have tickets to access the Fjellheisen cable car, which will take you to the top of Mount Storsteinen at Fløya, towering 421 meters above sea level. You can take bus line 26 to the foot of the mountain. The cable car ride takes 4 minutes. From up there, you will have a breathtaking view of the city and the surrounding mountains.
These tickets are valid all day, so you can go whenever you wish.
OPTION – EXCURSIONS Several activities are available as options. (See price list on the last page)
7:30 PM: 3-course dinner at the Fiskekompaniet restaurant.

DAY 4 | DOG SLEDDING
Breakfast – Scandinavian buffet at the hotel.
Dog sledding excursion – Departure by non-private bus towards Villmarkssenter. Duration of the journey 25 minutes. Upon arrival, you will be provided with “extreme cold” suits, boots, gloves, balaclavas, and goggles. Meet the huskies who are ready to show you the beautiful landscapes surrounding the kennel. You will be in teams of two per sled and will have the opportunity to alternate between driving and sitting during the approximately 1-hour excursion. If the track is icy, you will automatically be seated in pairs in a sled, driven by a professional musher, for safety reasons.
Individuals who do not wish to drive in pairs must specify this at registration to organize the groups. It is not possible to change once on site. It is not complicated but may require some effort on inclines.
Note: For safety reasons, children under 16 will be seated with an adult in a sled driven by a musher. (2 people per sled. This means that the second adult will be seated with a third person.)
A typical hot meal in the form of meat and vegetable stew, followed by a delicious homemade chocolate cake, coffee/tea, will be served in a “lavoo”. Vegetarian option available.
Return to Tromsø in the early afternoon.
Afternoon free to enjoy the city in a more personal way.

DAY 5 | TROMSO / PARIS
Breakfast – Scandinavian buffet at the hotel.
Transfer on your own to Tromsø Airport for your return flight to France. (Transfer and flight not included).
