Detailed program
Departure dates: Daily, from May 13 to October 7, 2026
DAY 1 | QUÉBEC
Arrival in Québec today and check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day will be dedicated to relaxation or exploring the region. Québec City celebrates the culture and history of French Canada through its unique architecture, art and cuisine. Overnight in Québec City.

DAY 2 | QUÉBEC CITY
Today, embark on a full day of sightseeing in the fascinating city of Québec and the surrounding Beaupré Coast.
In addition to visiting the only fortified city in North America, you will discover pivotal moments in Canada’s past, such as the Plains of Abraham and the Citadel, as well as the magnificent buildings of Upper and Lower Town, Notre-Dame Basilica and the National Assembly and Parliament buildings. Just outside the city, along the St. Lawrence coast, small towns are home to some of Canada’s most spectacular colonial churches, set between the rising shoreline and the water. Overnight in Québec City.
DAY 3 | QUÉBEC CITY
Enjoy a final day in Québec City. Walk along the waterfront trails connecting parks overlooking the river or take time to taste the many flavors of Québec cuisine in one of the city’s restaurants and cafés — local cheeses are world-renowned and highly recommended. Overnight in Québec City.
DAY 4 | QUÉBEC CITY TO ROBERVAL / ST-FÉLICIEN (258 KM)
Today, leave the city and head north into the deep forests of Québec’s backcountry. Passing near Jacques-Cartier National Park, continue toward the vast Laurentides Wildlife Reserve. This protected park, stretching over 150 km northward, is home to hundreds of unique animals, from moose and bears to wolves, beavers and eagles. Upon arrival, take time to enjoy the riverside landscapes and communities surrounding Lac Saint-Jean — from historic properties to the famous Blueberry cycling and hiking trail. Overnight in Roberval / St-Félicien.
DAY 5 | ROBERVAL / ST-FÉLICIEN
A day of exploration awaits, beginning with a cable car ride to the top of Ouiatchouan Falls, followed by a final stop at the top of the escarpment where you can enjoy a splendid view over Lac Saint-Jean. More adventurous visitors can climb the trails and staircases leading to Maligne Falls and the Ouiatchouan River. An included map will guide you to local photo stops and provide historical information about buildings and sites. Overnight in Roberval / St-Félicien.
DAY 6 | ROBERVAL / ST-FÉLICIEN TO SAGUENAY, VIA ST-FÉLICIEN (175 KM)
Departing from Val-Jalbert, take a short detour north to visit the incredible Zoo Sauvage de St-Félicien. Observe nearly 1,000 animals living in large natural habitats before boarding a closed train to discover the full splendor of the Nature Trails Park. Continue the adventure on foot and meet the zoo’s naturalist guides and even join keepers during feeding time.
Then follow the shores of the magnificent Lac Saint-Jean and cross lush lowlands to reach the city of Saguenay, where the powerful Saguenay River widens. Overnight in Saguenay.
DAY 7 | SAGUENAY
The entire day is yours to explore one of the province’s most beautiful natural landscapes. Local hiking trails follow the fjords to stunning viewpoints, and local guides are available for bear and bird watching or guided hikes on foot or by bike. The city is a haven for local artists and offers charming shops and bistros. Overnight in Saguenay.
DAY 8 | SAGUENAY TO BAIE ST-PAUL / LA MALBAIE, VIA BAIE-STE-CATHERINE (200 KM)
En Continuing east along the Saguenay River, your first stop is Baie-Ste-Catherine, where the waters meet the powerful currents of the St. Lawrence. Enjoy a 3-hour whale-watching cruise, where you may observe these incredible mammals feeding and playing above and below the waves. Back on land, continue along the coast through the Charlevoix region to the small town of La Malbaie. Overnight in Baie St-Paul / La Malbaie.
DAYS 9 & 10 | BAIE ST-PAUL / LA MALBAIE
Enjoy two full days in one of Québec’s most picturesque riverside villages. Known as the original resort destination for Canadian and American aristocrats at the turn of the century, the views over the St. Lawrence River are inspiring. One of the best ways to explore the region is by using the Malbaie shuttle, which runs along a 14 km route between Pointe-au-Pic and La Malbaie, with 14 stops allowing you to explore the area. Overnight in Baie St-Paul / La Malbaie.
DAY 11 | QUÉBEC
Leaving La Malbaie, you may return to Québec City after a short drive or continue your vacation in Canada. Transfer to Québec International Airport for your return flight.
