Stay at Pike’s Waterfront Lodge

The property boasts 180 rooms available year-round designed with rustic Gold Rush Era charm with modern conveniences as well as the delightful 28 seasonal cabins offering riverside solitude. Dining and catering options are available both at the property and at the nearby local favorite Pike’s Landing Restauant. Pike’s is very proud of its continually evolving green program including solar energy. The exciting new Aurora Conservatory, outdoor fire pits, free Aurora and Alaskan themed films showing in the movie theater, the 1000-Book Alaskan Library, and The Short-Cue Billiards Room are among the latest additions to the on site activities.

Accommodation

Every room includes the following standard amenities: microwave and refrigerator, flat-screen television with free cable, free wireless Internet also available in all but one cabin, private bathroom, Aveda aromatherapy bath amenities, hair dryer, magnifying mirror, iron and ironing board, telephone, clock with alarm, coffee/tea maker, windows that open, individual controls for heating and air conditioning and portable fan. All rooms are non smoking; and select rooms are dog-friendly as well!

Double queens bedded rooms are comfortable cozy rooms; the most popular room type and are on all three floors of both buildings. Sizes are either 11.5’ by 23’ or 13.5’ by 23′

At the lodge

The Binkley Art Gallery overlooks the Chena River and hosts the hot and cold summer buffet breakfast from 6:00 am to 10:00 am.  You may dine outdoors on warm, summer days. The Northern Lights Saloon is a quiet place to relax and enjoy a draft Alaska beer or your beverage of choice every evening from 5pm -10pm.

For lunch and dinner options they invite the guest to stroll across the parking lot to Pike’s Landing restaurant. Enjoy the best halibut fish and chips in town on the deck or by the fire.

Pikes Waterfront Lodge does offer a winter complimentary continental buffet breakfast for Lodge guests from October to mid May.
