Location

Pihlas Resort is located in Joroinen which is part of the beautiful Saimaa Lakes region 300 km north of the capital Helsinki. A secluded location in the shadow of the Finnish forest and the shores of Lake Pihlas. The 10.5 hectare resort guarantees a peaceful and private stay – with the exception of the Siimes Restaurant which also serves other visitors on the basis of advance reservations.

Accommodation

Maximum capacity of 40 people. 5 “forest” suites for 1-2 people and 5 “garden” villas for 4-6 people.

In addition to accommodation, four restaurants (two located in the resort area), two conference rooms, an indoor gym, a gym, outdoor tennis and padel courts, a lakeside sauna , a contoured swimming pool, jacuzzis and a wide choice of different activities and experiences.

Forest Suites

The intimate Forest Suites are perfect for invigorating getaways when traveling alone or as a couple, but they also meet the needs of business travelers.

The suite for 1 to 2 people (33m²) with panoramic windows overlooking the magnificent Pihlas Park and the surrounding nature. The suite’s luxurious queen-size bed guarantees a good night’s sleep and the small “kitchenette” with minibar offers refreshments 24 hours a day. The suite’s private sauna and balcony make their stay even more special.

Garden Villas

The villas provide the perfect setting for quality time with friends and family – whether you stay for one night or a whole week.

The 2-storey villa (77m²) for 4-6 people. 2 separate bedrooms with 2 double beds provide a good night’s sleep and privacy. For 1-2 additional people it is possible to arrange extra beds in the living room. The open living and dining room with fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with sauna, a separate toilet on the second floor as well as a garden terrace create a perfect setting for the stay.

Pihlas Resort’s main restaurant, Restaurants Siimes, serves luxurious full dinners and delicious summer lunches. In addition to Siimes, the resort’s lakeside clubhouse, Koto, and cozy Jardin d’hiver bar and lounge offer memorable dining experiences for guests. If you wish, it is possible to organize a private dinner for you and your entourage. Also try the Café Trapesa teahouse and TeaHouse of Wehmais which are located near the resort.
