Gjáargarður offers a wide range of accommodations; single rooms, double rooms, and family rooms. Gjáargarður has something for everyone.

Although Gjáargarður is built on multiple floors, visitors with disabilities can independently access Gjáargarður. All floors are accessible from the outside, and all door thresholds have been modified to allow free movement around each floor.

Smoking is prohibited in all rooms.

Options :

Standard Room

The welcoming and comfortable Standard rooms, ranging in size from 12 to 14 square meters, are all located in the main building. The rooms feature wireless internet access and their own toilet and shower facilities.

Gjáargarður offers these rooms as single rooms, twin rooms, family rooms, and double rooms with limited views.

Superior Room

All Superior rooms are located in the new, adjacent, low-rise building. The rooms, all 24 square meters, are independent units with a separate entrance, spacious bedroom/living area, and a bathroom. Each accommodation comes with a television, internet access, and an electric kettle.

Superior rooms offer families, groups of friends, or neighbors their own private haven at Gjáargarður where they can enjoy each other’s company in peace, all while experiencing the hospitality and service of Gjáargarður.

Superior rooms are available as single rooms, double rooms, and triple rooms.

Dining

GJÒBITI

The restaurant is open from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, serving à la carte. Please make a reservation in advance.

During the winter season, the restaurant is open upon request.

Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM and is included in the room rate.

If you would like a packed lunch with a ½ liter of water, please order the day before by 4:00 PM.

Practical Information

The restaurant is allowed to serve alcohol.

Attention! Make reservations in advance to secure a table.

For private or official arrangements, Gjáargarður offers catering both on-site and for takeaway (minimum 15 people).
