DAY 3 | SNOWSHOEING TRIP IN THE SURROUNDINGS OF SAANA

Skiing comes naturally to Finns, and children typically receive their first pair of skis from a young age. In recent years, Finns have found a trendy new way to navigate the snow: snowshoeing. For a beginner, snowshoeing is much easier than skiing. Going uphill and downhill is surprisingly easy and practical as snowshoes float perfectly even on deep snow.

DAY 4 | SAMI CULTURE AND REINDEER HERDING

We all know what Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer does at Christmas, but most people don’t know how he and his herd live the rest of the year. This visit takes you to a local reindeer farm. It provides the opportunity to observe reindeer herding and learn more about Sami culture.

DAY 5 | KITTILÄ / PARIS

Breakfast.

It’s time for you to leave Kilpisjärvi, but know that Kilpisjärvi will likely always remain in your heart. Transfer to Kittilä Airport. Departure to Paris on regular Finnair flights.

There are five different room types across two buildings. All rooms boast stunning views of the hills and mountains. The tall windows allow you to feel the surrounding nature pouring into your room. Each room is equipped with drying cabinets, hairdryers, and free Wi-Fi. To maximize comfort, the rooms also feature blackout curtains, air conditioning, and soundproofing to minimize outside noise.

Cahkal room

Intimate double room with large windows and views of the hills. The rooms feature twin beds, and some can be converted into a double bed upon request. These rooms are located on the first floor of the main building.

Room with a View

Elegant double room with the best views of the mountains and hills. The rooms feature twin beds, and some can be converted into a double bed upon request. These rooms are located on the second floor of the main building and are suitable for allergy sufferers.

Superior Room

Spacious double room with a comfortable seating area. Views of the hills and mountains. These rooms are located on the first and second floors.

Cahkal Studio

Idyllic studio with a private terrace and views of the mountains and hills. The studio is located in its own building close to the main building.

Cahkal Suite

Luxurious suite with a private sauna and terrace overlooking the mountains and hills. The two rooms are complemented by a cozy seating area. The Suite is located in the same building as the Studio, near the main building. Max. 4 people.
