Brändön Lodge is located about a 35-minute drive north of Luleå. The short drive takes you through farmlands and forests to the coastline overlooking the islands of the Luleå Archipelago and the Bay of Bothnia. This area has traditionally been a farming, fishing, and forestry community with strong historical and cultural ties to the archipelago islands

The resort features a main lodge, 15 accommodation cabins, large Tipi tents, and several relaxation cabins and saunas. In summer, there’s a cozy small sandy beach where you can enjoy the sun and a small marina from where you can start exploring the archipelago. In winter, it serves as the starting point for a wide range of winter activities on the frozen sea and neighboring islands, including the signature adventure, the Pack Ice Snowmobile Safari.

The main building is a log cabin that houses a restaurant, lounges, and a relaxation area. Around the log cabin are 15 cabins facing the sea and the Luleå Archipelago. Each cabin has been recently renovated and includes a bathroom, two bedrooms with two single beds in each room, a living room, and a covered porch facing the front. Winter clothing is provided to all guests, and Brändön Lodge is also the starting point for a range of fantastic activities.

Option accommodations

There are 15 cabins at Brändön Lodge, and each one features two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, a living area, and a porch with a sea view. In each bedroom, there are two single beds. In one bedroom, the single beds can be converted into a double bed upon request. Linens are always included. It’s also possible to set up an additional bed in the living room, bringing the total cabin capacity to 5 people. There is an additional cost for setting up this 5th bed.

Self-catering Cabin: Only bed linens are included in the cabin price. Cleaning, as well as end-of-stay and breakfast, are optional.

Hotel Standard Cabin: Bed linens, daily cleaning, and breakfast are included in the cabin price.
