DAY 1 | MONTRÉAL
Arrival at Montréal Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau International Airport. Pick up your car (car rental not included) and transfer to your downtown hotel. The travel booklet you received contains all the information necessary for your holidays/trip.
You will have the rest of the day to explore the city at your own pace. Discover the downtown skyscrapers and the underground city, Sainte-Hélène and Notre-Dame islands, the Latin Quarter, Chinatown, Sainte-Catherine Street and its lively shopping scene, Old Montréal and Notre-Dame Basilica. Or head up to Mount Royal and its large park, affectionately called “the mountain” by Montréal residents, proudly rising in the heart of the city. There is no shortage of options in this dynamic and cosmopolitan city. Overnight in Montréal.

DAY 2 | MONTRÉAL TO SAINT-SAUVEUR (85 KM)
Family activities in Montréal are so varied and numerous that you will have difficulty choosing! Two particularly interesting areas offer plenty to fill your days.
You can set off with your family to discover Space for Life. Located in the eastern part of the city, in the Olympic Park district where the Olympic Stadium and its famous inclined tower stand, Space for Life brings together Canada’s largest concentration of natural science museums. From the natural beauty of one of the world’s largest botanical gardens, to the newly redesigned ecosystems of the Biodôme, the fascinating world of insects at the Insectarium, and the wonders of the cosmos at the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium; you will discover the countless facets of nature on Earth… and beyond!
Or you may choose to spend the day at Montréal’s Old Port. There you will find the Montréal Science Centre with its IMAX cinema, the Clock Tower and beach, La Grande Roue, departure points for several river cruises, a giant maze, the Bonsecours Basin where you can rent pedal boats, quadricycle, bike and segway rentals, an urban zipline, climbing wall… and much more! Late in the afternoon, departure towards the Laurentians, a beautiful region of mountains, lakes and wide open spaces, long known as a prime holiday destination and one of Québec residents’ favourite playgrounds.

DAY 3 | SAINT-SAUVEUR
Today, stroll through the charming village of Saint-Sauveur. You will be charmed by its lively atmosphere and the wide range of sports and cultural activities available: cycling paths, a water park, treetop adventure course, art galleries. Shopping enthusiasts can head to the outlets in the heart of the village to enjoy numerous bargains.
You can also take advantage of the day to head north towards the Mont-Tremblant resort. Explore the picturesque pedestrian village at the foot of Mont Tremblant and take the panoramic gondola to the summit for breathtaking views. Overnight in Saint-Sauveur.
Optional activity: Guided electric bike tour in Tremblant
DAY 4 | SAINT-SAUVEUR TO SAINT-ALEXIS-DES-MONTS (130 KM TO 150 KM)
Today, you will head towards the magnificent Mauricie region. With its vast untouched wilderness, numerous lakes and rivers, waterfalls and cascades, plains and mountains, the region is undoubtedly an outdoor paradise! You will stay for two nights in the heart of nature at Lac-à-l’Eau-Claire or Pourvoirie du Lac Blanc. You will be charmed by its warm welcome and comfortable, colourful accommodation where you will feel at home. While the children enjoy the lake, you can relax on the beach. Dinner included. Overnight in Saint-Alexis-des-Monts.
JOUR 5 | SAINT-ALEXIS-DES-MONTS
Numerous activities will be available for you to fully enjoy your day at Lac-à-l’Eau-Claire or Pourvoirie du Lac Blanc. You may choose among: hiking in nature, wildlife and flora observation, beach, pedal boats, rowboats, kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, volleyball or tennis, and much more. Additional paid activities ($) are also available on site: spa treatments, quad excursions, trout fishing, etc. From morning to evening, you will find plenty of activities for the whole family! Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight at Lac-à-l’Eau-Claire or Pourvoirie du Lac Blanc.
DAY 6 | SAINT-ALEXIS-DES-MONTS TO LAC DELAGE OR VALCARTIER (210 KM TO 220 KM)
Breakfast. Leaving Mauricie, you will pass through the city of Trois-Rivières and the Chemin du Roy if you wish, following the St. Lawrence River towards your next stop.
Standard category: Upon arrival at the magnificent Manoir du Lac Delage, located on the shores of a large freshwater lake, enjoy all the amenities of a classic summer resort.
Relax on the large terraces around the hotel, play volleyball, paddleboard or canoe on the lake, or enjoy an outdoor firepit. A perfect family holiday experience awaits.
Superior category: With the children, you will not be able to resist spending the day at Village Vacances Valcartier. The outdoor water park features nearly 35 water slides, 2 themed rivers, wave pools, beach volleyball and entertainment. It also includes Bora Parc, a vast indoor water park attached to Hôtel Valcartier. Overnight in Lac Delage or Valcartier.
DAY 7 | LAC DELAGE -CARTIER OR VALCARTIER
The second day is free to enjoy your hotel facilities or explore the surroundings.
If you stay at Lac Delage (Standard), you may take a longer canoe excursion to explore the lakeshore or go hiking nearby. If you stay at Valcartier (Superior category), you may wish to explore Jacques-Cartier National Park located nearby. The park hides one of Québec’s most beautiful glacial valleys. The valley features a drop of over 550 metres through which a river winds, sometimes calm and sometimes turbulent. On the high plateaus, coniferous forests dominate, while deciduous trees fill the valley floors. You will undoubtedly discover inspiring nature filled with peace. Overnight in Lac Delage or Valcartier.
DAY 8 | LAC DELAGE OR VALCARTIER TO SAINT-FÉLICIEN/ROBERVAL (261 KM TO 295 KM)
Today you enter the Lac Saint-Jean region. The lake itself is a true inland sea of 1,350 km², surrounded by agricultural lands. Play amateur speleologists at the Trou de la Fée Cave Park; relive the days of the first Métabetchouane trading post from 1676, when everything was still to be discovered, explored and built. A visit (included) to the Wild Zoo of Saint-Félicien is a must. You will be able to observe several Boreal animal species.
Aboard a caged sightseeing train, you will travel through the Nature Trails Park. Comfortably seated and perfectly safe, you may observe semi-free roaming animals feeding, wandering and resting, such as wolves, bison, musk oxen, black bears and moose. Do not miss the walking section of the zoo, which immerses visitors in boreal biodiversity through six sectors: the Arctic, Asia, mixed forest, Mongolia, the mountains and the small farm. Overnight in Saint-Félicien/Roberval.
DAY 9 | SAINT-FÉLICIEN/ROBERVAL TO SACRÉ-CŒUR (235 KM)
In the Saguenay region, several producers open their doors to visitors to pick baskets of juicy wild strawberries, raspberries or blueberries, for which the region is famous. In fact, the people of Lac-Saint-Jean are affectionately nicknamed “Les Bleuets” (Blueberries). In season, this is a fun family activity. You will then reach the spectacular Saguenay Fjord, one of the longest fjords in the world and also the southernmost.
It features an ecosystem of unique complexity and diversity. Rocky cliffs rising up to 457 metres plunge into the fjord’s dark waters. It is a fantastic place for whale watching and observing marine wildlife.
Take a small detour to visit the Fjord Museum, which reveals the importance of the fjord’s natural and historical heritage, or plan a black bear observation activity at Okwari Adventures. Then head to Sacré-Cœur at Ferme 5 Étoiles. Located about fifteen minutes from Tadoussac, on the north shore of the fjord, the farm is a true holiday centre nestled in a forested area. Overnight in Sacré-Cœur.

DAY 10 | SACRÉ-COEUR
This morning, you will take part in caring for the animals, a unique and unforgettable experience. Accompanied by a guide for over an hour, you will feed the animals and participate in the farm’s daily activities. The special interaction you will enjoy with the animals guarantees wonderful moments with the children.
The rest of the day will be free to enjoy the activities available on site. You may cool off in the swimming pool, explore nearby hiking trails or visit the many animals you met during the morning activity. Additional paid activities ($) are also available on site: whale-watching cruises by boat or zodiac, sea kayaking on the fjord, quad biking, wolf encounters, black bear observation, horseback riding and massage therapy. Overnight in Sacré-Cœur.
DAY 11 | SACRÉ-CŒUR TO QUÉBEC CITY – EXCURSION THROUGH CHARLEVOIX (230 KM)
Leaving the Saguenay region on your way to Québec City, you will travel through the beautiful Charlevoix region, which perfectly combines culture and nature. For decades, the beauty of its landscapes has attracted many painters and artists of all kinds, as evidenced by the numerous boutiques and art galleries found throughout the area. The region is also full of opportunities to discover and taste Québec local products, with many visits offered by local producers. Charlevoix is also home to two spectacular national parks that are definitely worth a visit: Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie National Park and Grands-Jardins National Park.
Hautes-Gorges Park has the privilege of being one of the core areas of the Charlevoix Biosphere Reserve. The deeply carved valleys within the high mountains, the beauty of the scenery and the unique course of the Malbaie River make this site truly enchanting. Overnight in Québec City.

DAY 12 | QUÉBEC CITY
Québec City, the capital of the province and a jewel of UNESCO World Heritage, has much to offer. Its main historical sites include the Plains of Abraham, the fortifications, Place Royale, the Citadel and the Petit Champlain district. You will enjoy strolling along Dufferin Terrace, a lively and iconic promenade. Let yourself be charmed by the streets and alleyways of Old Québec, renowned for their undeniable charm, and take the ferry to Lévis simply to enjoy an exceptional view of Cap Diamant and Château Frontenac.
Or head to Montmorency Falls Park or Canyon Sainte-Anne. Both sites feature impressive waterfalls that can easily be explored on foot along trails and lookout points, while also offering soft adventure experiences such as zipline rides. Overnight in Québec City.

DAY 13 | QUÉBEC CITY TO MONTRÉAL
