Detailed program
DAY 1 | ROVANIEMI
Arrival at Rovaniemi airport.
Transfer to the Arctic Light Hotel. Check-in at the hotel, ideally located in the heart of Rovaniemi, close to the restaurants, shops and entertainment of the capital of Lapland. Enjoy your first evening discovering the winter atmosphere of the city and the unique Arctic Circle ambiance.
DAY 2 | SANTA CLAUS SAFARI – 6h
Breakfast.
Transfer to our partner’s office for your day activity.
This family safari combines nature, culture and the warm spirit of Christmas. The day begins with a snowmobile safari to a reindeer farm steeped in Lapland culture. You will enjoy a reindeer sleigh ride and take part in a traditional ceremony: crossing the Arctic Circle. In the afternoon, the journey continues by coach to Santa Claus Village – the perfect place for some Christmas shopping. You will also be able to send postcards from Santa Claus’ post office. During this day, you will meet Santa Claus in person and enjoy a delicious lunch in a friendly restaurant. And to top it all off, you will receive your Arctic Circle crossing certificate!
Transfer back to your accommodation.
DAY 3 | HUSKY SAFARI – 10 km
Breakfast.
Transfer to our partner’s office for your day activity.
After a short coach ride from the city to the husky kennel, you will be welcomed by the enthusiastic barking of these friendly dogs. Before departure, you will learn how to control the sleds. This safari offers a unique experience: the bond between the musher and the dogs during a shared expedition in the wilderness. You will quickly discover that behind their piercing and icy gaze hides a friendly companion who forms strong bonds with humans. Back at the kennel, you can enjoy a warm berry juice around the fire while chatting with the musher about these extraordinary Arctic animals.
Transfer back to your accommodation.
DAY 4 | ROVANIEMI
Enjoy your last moments in the magical atmosphere of Rovaniemi before your transfer to the airport, with unforgettable memories.

A welcoming room inspired by Arctic nature, featuring a queen-size bed, a rain shower and interior design in warm tones. Located on the ground floor and first floor. Bathrobes and slippers are provided for your comfort.

- Parking is free for all hotel guests; no reservation is required.
- Pets are allowed. A supplement of €15 per night applies. Pet-friendly rooms are Magic double, Arctic and Polar Street rooms.
- Child rates apply for children aged 4 to 12. Children under 4 years old staying without a cot or with an extra bed stay free of charge. If one adult and one child aged 4 to 12 share a twin room, the child rate is the same as the adult rate.
Santa Claus Safari:
- This program includes a set menu; please inform us in advance of any dietary requirements or allergies.
- The excess (€980 maximum) can be reduced to €150 with a supplement of €20 per driver per safari.
- Solo driving available. Supplement for solo driving €50 per person.
Husky Safari:
- Children ride with their parents in the sled (max. 2 adults and 2 children per sled).
- During the sled ride, one person stands behind the sled to control/steer it while another sits as a passenger.
- Drivers may change during the safari.
