Detailed program
DAY 1 | IVALO / SAARISELKÄ
Arrival at Ivalo Airport. Transfer to Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort, located in the heart of the wild landscapes of Saariselkä. Check-in to your Small Chalet in the East Village of the resort. Enjoy your first evening discovering the unique atmosphere of the Far North and the stunning snowy landscapes surrounding the resort.
Dinner and overnight at the resort.
DAY 2 | HUSKY SAFARI – 2h
Breakfast.
Your guide will pick you up at Kakslauttanen and provide thermal clothing at the husky farm. You will then meet the friendly dogs eagerly waiting in front of the sleds. Huskies love to run and are excited to set off!
The guide will explain how to stop, turn, and drive the sled pulled by several dogs. The sled is designed for two people, unless you choose a private option (extra charge). One person sits in the sled, the other stands at the back and drives; you can switch drivers halfway. You will enjoy this snowy forest ride as much as the dogs do!
After arriving at the farm and thanking your dogs for the adventure, you will enjoy a hot drink and hear stories about the huskies. Transfer back to your accommodation.

DAY 3 | SNOWMOBILE SAFARI – 2h
Breakfast.
A thrilling excursion into the Arctic forest. The best way to admire the mountain landscapes of Lapland is by snowmobile. Participants are picked up at Kakslauttanen, taken to the activity site, and provided with thermal suits and instructions.
The snowmobile is shared by two people: one drives and the other is a passenger. You can switch drivers halfway through. You may also choose a private snowmobile. Get ready for an adrenaline-filled adventure in the heart of Arctic nature.
Transfer back to your accommodation.
Dinner and overnight at the resort.
DAY 4 | SAARISELKÄ / IVALO
Breakfast.
Enjoy your last moments in the magical atmosphere of Lapland before your transfer to Ivalo Airport, leaving with unforgettable memories.
SMALL CABIN – EAST VILLAGE – 45 m2 – max 4 people
The log cabins are built from massive Kelo pine trees, once dead and dried, and their rustic style blends perfectly into the surrounding wilderness. You will not find large-screen TVs or dishwashers here, but each cabin offers pleasant comforts: a fireplace and a private sauna.
This small chalet for 4 people includes a kitchenette, fireplace and private sauna. It features a double bed and a bunk bed for two, ideal for a couple or a small family.
Free parking and car heating posts are available near each chalet.
