Detailed program
DAY 1 | Reykjavik (Iceland) – Constable Point (Greenland)
Flight from Reykjavik to Constable Point and embarkation. Cruise along the rugged coast of the Liverpool Alps.
DAY 2 | Bontkoe Island
Inuit remains. Possible sightings of musk oxen and bears on this large offshore island. Visit the historical station and the tundra of Myggbukta or Cape Humboldt at the entrance to the Emperor Franz Joseph Fjord.
DAY 3 | Sabine, Pendulum, and Shannon Islands
These islands are famous in history for the explorers who left numerous boats and huts. The Meteorological War of 1941-1944 and some of the oldest Eskimo settlements in Greenland mark these places. The polar fauna is rich with musk oxen, Arctic hares, and on Hvalross Island, there are numerous Inuit remains. Cruise along the Hochstetter Land, renowned for its tundras and Arctic wolves.
DAY 4 | Dove Bay
A vast bay with steep fjords holding tundras rich in musk oxen. Spectacular fields of icebergs come from the polar ice cap into Borg Fjord. Cruise towards the Soraner Glacier front and the Morke Fjord, particularly renowned for its history of trappers and explorers. Polar bears, narwhals, and walruses may be encountered in these stunning landscapes.
DAY 5 | Île de France
This island is very rarely accessible and represents the richest site in ancient Inuit remains. It was named by the Duke of Orléans during an expedition in 1905. Bears, walruses, and whales are commonly seen on the offshore ice floe.
DAYS 6 and 7 | Germania Land and Northeast Ice Caps (?)
We will navigate close to giant tabular icebergs breaking off from North Greenland and North Canada. Sea ice will be present. Depending on the ice conditions, landings on pristine and impressive sites in the cold deserts to observe the immense ice rivers of Zachariae and Nioghalvfjord. These days will mark the exploration of the world of great ice rivers that produce the largest icebergs in the Arctic. We will be on the lookout for bears, walruses, and large whales, which are regulars in these areas. The routes will be guided by ice conditions.
DAY 8 | Danmarkshavn and Morkefjord, Dove Bay
Visit to the scientific station of Danmarkshavn, then exploration of the Morkefjord’s rugged landscapes and renowned trapper huts. Cruise in the northern part of Dove Bay.
DAY 9 | Straits and Eskimonaes
Navigate through the straits of Shannon and Sabine, arriving at the former station of Eskimonaes, a significant location during the Meteorological War with numerous Inuit remains. It was in this region that the last indigenous inhabitants were observed in 1823.
DAY 10 | Emperor Franz Joseph Fjord
A 210 km long fjord where we will discover the rocky bastions of the ‘Devil’s Castle,’ then the world’s highest coastal cliff, Attestupan, before reaching the iceberg fields of the Nordenskiöld Glacier pouring from the ice cap into an extraordinary landscape where musk oxen and bears are commonly seen. Stunning navigations amidst icebergs and peaks exceeding 2000 meters in altitude.
DAY 11 | Isfjord
Morning navigation close to the ice front and its polar ‘Matterhorn’ before an excursion in search of musk oxen. Explore the cliffs of Ella Island and its station, the narwhal channel, then discover the spectacular ‘Painted Rocks’ of Cape Ardencaple. Evening cruise off the Stauning Alps, with possible northern lights (?).
DAY 12 | Liverpool Alps and Ittoqqortoomiit
Visit to the Inuit village established in 1925 at the mouth of the world’s largest fjord, Scoresby Sund. Northern lights may be visible depending on weather conditions.
DAY 13 | Constable Point – Reykjavik (Iceland)
Private flight to Iceland and its capital Reykjavik where we will spend the evening. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 14 | Reykjavik
Return flight according to your arrangements.

It features a wide gangway for easy access to the Zodiacs.
The ship is equipped with facilities that far exceed environmental regulations, allowing it to reduce its ecological impact: state-of-the-art smoke filters, on-board waste treatment, propulsion solely using light fuel, which is less polluting, and engines enabling the lowest consumption per passenger. This consumption also leads to complete carbon offsetting, making this ship carbon-neutral.
