From wild caught fish from local fisherman to reindeer sourced from Sodankylä, Lapland, or caviar from France, the menu at Lilja flows naturally with the changing seasons and showcases the finest produce from selected purveyors in Finland and throughout Europe.

LILJA – THE SPACE

Large arched windows filter natural light into the stylish, contemporary dining room as the distinctive Nordic luxury aesthetic of the hotel is interwoven throughout the restaurant. Walls adorned with artwork by celebrated Finnish artist Hanna Heino enrich this chic space and the secluded private dining room, Valley, is ideal for intimate events and special celebrations. Begin your day at your leisure with Helsinki’s finest breakfast at Lilja. From our lavish buffet, select from classic Finnish and international breakfast delicacies, with accompaniments served to your table, or order à la carte dishes prepared to your preferences

AFTERNOON TEA

Afternoon tea at Lilja is also a must. From 12 pm to 4 pm on Saturdays, socialise in style with a selection of delicious treats paired with an arrangement of fine teas and beverages from around the world. We kindly request making a table reservation in advance and notifying any food allergies at the time of the reservation.

Simplified yet distinctly sophisticated dining ensues at our Garden Terrace. Leisurely and informal, the Garden Terrace welcomes you to indulge in an elevated, all-day dining menu inspired by classic international and Nordic dishes, created to delight and satisfy any craving.

BRASSERIE DINNING IN HELSINKI

With an ideology in modern French cuisine, our delightful dishes are created with premium produce from both local Finnish farms and carefully selected purveyors in proximity to Finland. This not only reduces our carbon footprint, but also ensures the freshest ingredients and whole foods.

WINTER GARDEN

As you pass through the Garden Terrace, a glass-enclosed patio illuminated with natural light reveals itself and allows guests to dine in an elegant, winter garden setting. The Garden Terrace is filled with greenery, hanging lanterns and plush Chesterfield sofas making it cosy and inviting while you watch the snow fall outside.

ENJOY FINNISH SUMMER

As the seasons change and the warmer months approach, a series of tables fill the adjoining courtyard so you can socialise in the sunshine and enjoy the long Finnish summer days. Adjacent to the courtyard is an open fireplace and fountains with a lounge area. It is an incredible social space.

Bar Maria

The sound of live music floats from a grand piano through the hallways of the hotel, leading you to Bar Maria. Glistening light from spectacular series of Timothy Oulton designed chandeliers, mimicking the ice of mystic Nordic winters, highlights the white marble bar where the magic happens. Bar Maria is the place to imbibe pre-dinner cocktails or rendezvous for a night-cap before retiring to your suite for the evening. You are always welcome at Bar Maria. Experience live piano music every Saturday from 7 pm to 9 pm.
